The Simpsons‘ Nancy Cartwright will reprise her voice role as Rufus The Naked Mole-Rat in next month’s Disney Channel live-action Kim Possible movie.

Cartwright, who has played Bart Simpson, among other characters, for more than 30 years, voiced the Rufus character for Disney Channel’s 2002-07 Kim Possible animated series.

The live-action Kim Possible movie, written by Josh Cagan and Bob Schooley & Mark McCorkle, follows the title character and best friend Ron Stoppable on their freshman year of high school while saving the world from evil villains.

Kim Possible, the Disney Channel live action original movie based on the beloved animated series, will premiere Friday, Feb. 15 at 8 Et/Pt on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.

In the live-action Kim Possible movie, Kim and her best friend and sidekick, Ron Stoppable, start Middleton High School, where Kim must navigate an intimidating new social hierarchy. She is ready to tackle the challenge head-on, just as she has with everything else in life, but her confidence is shaken when she faces roadblocks at every turn—getting lost in the confusing hallways, being late to class and facing rejection during soccer tryouts from her frenemy, Bonnie.

The Disney Channel’s live-action Kim Possible movie has cast a couple new actors that were previously involved with the animated series. Patton Oswalt and Christy Carlson Romano are set to appear in the movie.

Romano, who voiced the teen super-spy in the original series, will pop up in a cameo role, while Oswalt is set to play the villainous Professor Dementor, which is the same character he voiced in the show.

They join the previously cast Sadie Stanley as Kim Possible and Sean Giambrone as Ron Stoppable. The rest of the cast includes Alyson Hannigan, Todd Stashwick, Taylor Ortega, Ciara Wilson, Erika Tham, Issac Ryan Brown, and Connie Ray.

Patton Oswalt and Christy Carlson Romano have joined the cast of the live-action “Kim Possible,” a Disney Channel Original Movie about an everyday high school girl who, in her spare time, saves the world from villains.

Oswalt voiced fan favorite supervillain and mad scientist Professor Dementor, and Romano voiced the title character in the hit 2002 animated series in which the live-action film is based.

Romano announced that she would appear in the film, set to debut in 2019, during “D23’s Saturday Morning on the Lot” event at the Walt Disney Studios Saturday, during a presentation celebrating the series.

With all the TV reboots coming down the pike in 2018, it was only a matter of time before beloved Disney Channel shows started getting the same treatment. Just like the recent revival of That's So Raven, Kim Possible is also being brought back but with a fun twist.

The animated series about a young high-school cheerleader who lives a double life as a spy saving the world from supervillains is being turned into a live-action movie with newcomer Sadie Stanley as the title character. The Goldbergs star Sean Giambrone will play her trusty sidekick Ron Stoppable.

At San Diego Comic-Con on July 21, executive producers Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley shared a first look at the movie, which will premiere in 2019. In the quick clip shared by the Disney Channel, the spunky animated character is shown evolving through the years, ending with a shot of Stanley all suited up as Kim.

NBC announced Nestor Carbonell, Jaime Ray Newman and Josh Kelly (“Unreal”) will add new layers of intrigue and suspense to the one-stoplight town of “Midnight, Texas,” which begins its second season at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26 on NBC.

Carbonell and Newman will recur as Kai and Patience Lucero, respectively, the owners of Midnight’s new hotel. Their sudden arrival in town causes a stir and has the Midnighters suspicious about what is really going on. Issac Ryan Brown (Raven’s Home) will step into the role of Kim’s computer-whiz accomplice Wade Load (yes, that’s his actual name), the network announced on Friday. As you may recall, the character — who would alert Kim to crisis situations via the use of that iconic tone — was voiced by Tahj Mowry.
