- Miriam Pinedo is an award-winning actress, writer, singer, producer, and media professional originally from Venezuela. Miriam played Maggy in the 2016 feature film Translucido. She wrote the film Steven which won Best Comedy at the 2018 AMAW Film Festival in NYC. She also won Best Performance for her portrayal of Martha in the feature film Enduring: A Mother's Story at the Hollywood North Film Awards in 2019. In 2019 she played Lisa in Porcelain Doll and Emily in Step 9 which she also wrote and co-produced. In 2020 she played the role of Jaime in the feature film Little Squares now in post-production. 2020 was also the year of Miriam's directorial debut with the short film The Poet which she also wrote and co-produced. In 2021, Miriam's screenplay The Poet wins the Best Short Screenplay award at the Screenwriting Master Contest in New York, and Best Short Screenplay at the Austin Spotlight Film Festival in Texas among other awards. Miriam is working on the pre-production of her short film Meet and Greed which recently won the Best Short Screenplay award at the Oniros Film Awards in New York.
