Jade is a UK-born multi-disciplinary filmmaker and professional actress with a passion for storytelling. With her performing arts background, she gained a MA in Screenwriting at Birkbeck, University of London and a BA (Hons) in Film at Solent University Southampton, where her final major project was nominated for Best Film and Best Edit at the third years annual Sofia's Awards to celebrate students achievements.
Her recent work has gained recognition at numerous film festivals, including the Porto Femme International Film Festival in Portugal, the Berlin Flash Film Festival where her film 'Tunnel' won the 'Best Film' category, the Liftoff Global Network Sessions at Pinewood Studios, and the 225 Film Club, which promotes female excellence in direction, showcased at the BFI in London.
She has had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects from stage to screen as an actress, as well as a screenwriter, director and editor. Whether she is working on a feature film, short film, TV drama series, or stage play, her approach remains consistent: to create engaging stories that leave a lasting impression, to inform and to inspire.
