Cherry Fu is a bilingual (Mandarin, English) Asian American actress born in Queens, New York who was discovered at the age of fourteen while doing runway shows at an Asian Business Center located in New York City. After the age of eighteen she started acting and modeling as a full-time occupation.
In addition to earning a business degree in fashion merchandising and art, she has also trained in kendo (Japanese martial art), firearms marksmanship, archery and kickboxing.
