Match #1: Gunther def. Otis The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther make an incredible statement when he delivered a Powerbomb to Otis of Alpha Academy for a big victory on The Road to WrestleMania. When Gunther continued his attack after the match, “Main Event” Jey Uso came to the rescue and sent The Ring General out of the ring. A-Town Down Under, however, emerged to attack the WrestleMania challenger from behind, opening the door for Gunther to lock in the sleeper.

Rhea Ripley has become one of the top-rated WWE superstars of the modern era. In only a few years, The Eradicator became a top draw for the company in the women’s division and has been proving her worth week after week as an in-ring competitor.
Moreover, Mami has also been a top merchandise seller for the company, with fans donning her colors for WWE shows. This has been the scene for a long time, proving Ripley’s worth as a bonafide top WWE superstar.

In regards to the merchandise part, Rhea Ripley’s popularity and character led to fellow WWE Raw star Logan Paul giving her a piece of advice. While she seemed excited at first, Ripley had a completely different reaction at the end of their conversation.

Match #1: Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai def. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Dakota Kai made her in-ring return, teaming with fellow Damage Ctrl member Iyo Sky to take on Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Rodriguez took control in the early goings, planting Kai across the ring post outside the ring. Sky, however, took the sky, literally, to punish Morgan and Rodriguez. Morgan and Rodriguez hit a scintillating Assisted Oblivion from the top rope onto Sky, but The Genius of the Sky kept fighting. Match #1: Women’s Royal Rumble – Winner: Charlotte Flair The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Charlotte Flair won the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble in her grand return to WWE, last eliminating Roxanne Perez to seal the victory. The match began with two former Women’s World Champions, as Iyo Sky entered at the unenviable No. 1 spot, with Liv Morgan entering at the equally unlucky No. 2, setting up an early showdown between two of WWE’s best. The ring quickly filled up as Nxt’s Roxanne Perez (No. 3), Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria (No. 4) and Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green (No. 5) all entered the fray, only for the four...

Last night marked the commencement of the road to WrestleMania, as WWE’s pay-per-view event for February, Royal Rumble, took place in Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis. With only four matches booked for the show, two being the Royal Rumble matches for men and women, it was stacked as it set things in place for WM41.

The event kicked off strong with the Women’s Rumble match, where Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan made the fans cheer for them. However, the show soon became a topic of conversation on social media as it featured several mishaps.
This year’s Royal Rumble was arguably one of the most unpredictable ones; it featured some controversy, where fans were visibly upset with the winners of both men’s and women’s Royal Rumble. However, things could have gone south as they narrowly avoided several disasters.

WWE just signed someone from their competition. For the past few weeks, WWE has been airing teasers in between episodes of Monday Night Raw, featuring the number zero with a slash across. These teasers were synonymous with no clear indicator as to what or who these teasers could be about.
As of Monday Night Raw's premiere on Netflix, WWE has now confirmed that these teasers are about their newest signee, Penta. For weeks, Penta's name floated around in rumors and speculation regarding who these teasers could be about, but the latest teaser showcasing Penta's name and logo confirms this is about the former World Champion.
Penta is best known for his work in All Elite Wrestling, a wrestling company geared toward older audiences often framed as WWE's direct competition. Penta's public and controversial exit from Aew has gifted WWE its newest commodity.

2024 was a gift to wrestling fans for many members of the WWE Universe. It was effectively the year in which the company and its product worked its way back into the mainstream, thanks in large part to a monumental Netflix deal and the return of Hollywood superstar, The Rock. The year offered some incredible moments for WWE spectators, but it also offered some incredible matches.
The year of 2024 gave audiences too many matches to choose from in the Match of the Year department, many of which just barely missed the cut. Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky, WarGames, Nxt's Iron Survivor, Friday Night SmackDown's Triple Threat Ladder Match, Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sheamus vs. Bron Breakker, and Randy Orton's match with Gunther in Berlin are all examples of honorable mentions. However, the matches that did happen to leave an imprint in the minds of the WWE Universe are ones that are truly must-see.

The final Monday Night Raw on Cable Television before WWE moves its signature show to Netflix next week was one rammed full of incident. Cm Punk and Seth Rollins had an all-timer of a mic battle that simply has to be seen to be believed. Both men were left snarling at each other as Raw went off the air. No punches were thrown. Just molten hot rage and personal, below-the-belt jibes.
Elsewhere, Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria will compete for the first Women's Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus returned to attack Ludwig Kaiser, The New Day were a nuisance all evening and landed a match with Rey Mysterio and the Lwo. Damian Priest and The War Raiders defeated The Judgment Day, and Chad Gable's renaissance continued with a win over Otis.

In a battle on the turnbuckle moments later, The Queen of Harts sent Fyre to the canvas with a German suplex. WWE made its final pit stop on the road to Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia this weekend with a SmackDown show that was pre-taped after last Friday's episode. Jey Uso and the original Bloodline took center stage, raising their ones to the sky in unison as Roman Reigns and Jey Uso had a very frank conversation. Jey is his own man in 2024 and respect must be paid as Roman and The Usos will face The Bloodline at this weekend's Ple.
Elsewhere, The Street Profits defeated Pretty Deadly after they'd finished flirting with Hamilton creator Lin-Maunel Miranda, Iyo Sky won an action-packed Fatal Four Way, Liv Morgan pinned a particularly feisty and threatening Tiffany Stratton, and Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton defeated Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser in the night's Main Event, before Kevin Owens spoiled the night's celebrations.

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down in this episode…
Match #1: Damage Ctrl vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson (No Contest) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Former Nxt Women’s Champions Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane returned to Nxt for a tag team match against The Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, but they left with even more enemies. Sky and Sane’s quickness was met with sheer power from Lash Legend who at one point dribbled their heads like basketballs on the middle rope. With the action going back and forth inside the ring, SmackDown’s Chelsea Green and Piper Niven crashed the scene and forced a No Contest by laying out all four Superstars.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Jaida Parker def. Tatum Paxley The following is courtesy of wwe.

Match #1: Pete Dunne def. Sheamus The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite receiving loud jeers from the WWE Universe, an enraged Pete Dunne looked to take down his former mentor Sheamus. The chants seemed to distract Dunne as The Celtic Warrior dodged a hand crusher to perform an Alabama slam directly onto the announce table. Dunne withstood a monumental amount of punishment from The Celtic Warrior but kept fighting. After being brutalized with the 10 Beats of the Bodhran, Dunne went for the Shillelagh, but Sheamus wrenched it from Dunne’s hands. With the referee preoccupied with taking away the weapon from Sheamus, Dunne used a cricket bat to wallop Sheamus. Dunne then hit a huge knee strike to earn the big-time win.

Monday Night Raw was on incredible form as the WWE took to Portland, Or, to continue the road to Bad Blood. Cm Punk opened the show with an intimidating promo aimed at an absent Drew McIntyre, Pete Dunne would score an enormous win over Sheamus, and tension has reached an all-time high in The New Day with a break-up seeming imminent.
Jey Uso and Bron Breakker will headline next week's Raw and hyped their Intercontinental Title match with an incredible confrontation. Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman tore each other and the building apart (literally), Damien Priest would beat Dominic Mysterio in the night's Main Event, but The Judgment Day would then make Priest and his Terror Twin, Rhea Ripley, pay with an epic beatdown to close the show.

Rhea Ripley has managed to become the most popular women's wrestler on the WWE roster today. Truthfully, she is more over than most male top stars in the company today. Her sheer presence commands the attention of those in and out of the wrestling world, and her unique looks have made her a massive social media star.
Ripley is a walking, talking, definition of a Superstar. However, regardless of her aura, she would not have found half of the success she has now without her in-ring ability. One of her biggest talking points surrounds the stellar matches she's capable of putting on any day of the week - and she has had some modern classics already.

Rhea Ripley stands out as one of the most powerful female wrestlers globally today. Her remarkable physique, characterized by significant muscle mass, sets her apart from the average wrestler. This impressive physique is the result of rigorous gym sessions and a disciplined diet.
Initially, Ripley’s body was noticeably leaner when she began her career, lacking the muscular definition that now defines her. Over the years, her physique has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving impressively to its current state.
Rhea Ripley’s Insane Body Transformation Is Truly Inspirational
What a difference seven years can make. The evolution of a WWE Superstar throughout their career is something fans truly appreciate, and Rhea Ripley exemplifies this notion perfectly. Her journey demonstrates that the early stages of a wrestler’s career may not accurately depict the Superstar they’ll become in the future. However, this transformation hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Ripley.

Taking to her Instagram on Thursday, Dakota Kai showed off her recent in-ring look from a photoshoot, most likely for WWE media.
It features an intricate black and pink design on her ring shorts and top, which also features mesh paneling and a collar in matching colors.
Dakota’s boots are all black and feature some pink streaks around them. The entire outfit also matches her unique hairstyle, which is part blonde, part pink, and part black.

“Monday Night Raw” saw its linear ratings rise this week as the post-Vince McMahon era of WWE begins.
Monday’s show on USA Network drew an average audience of 2.3 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic, according to Nielsen figures. That represents a two-year viewership high for “Raw” and an improvement of 21 in viewership and 20 in the key demo versus last week.

Welcome to this week’s Nxt review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I’ve got a chunky butt. There’s just something about Mary…and Nxt! There, now I can cash Vince’s check for…$12?! F— that cheap f—! Vince hid a monkey in his suitcase so he’d have something to pee on during the flight home! Vince invented disappointment so we’d all have to suffer when women won’t let him punch them in the face. Vince hates Jesus! Vince…ohhhhhhh…this check say $12,000…thumb covered up the zeros. Vince sure is great and so is Nxt!

Women’s wrestling sure has changed over the years, and in the time we’ve been watching these superstars on our screens, we’ve seen some incredible athletes, characters and workers, but we’ve also seen some who couldn’t do things in the ring very well. This is the case in all areas of pro-wrestling, but with this we’re going to look at the five best and five worst WWE Women’s Champions of all time. Now, this isn’t a personal attack on any of the women who fall into the “worst” category, because I think it’s important to point out that all wrestlers bust their butts in some manner or another. I respect that, but I’m looking at the in-ring careers of these talents, from wrestling skills to promo-work. That’s pretty much it. This will include WWF, WWE and Nxt Women’s Champions,...

So usually, when it comes to Which is Better, I stick to movies, with horror films regularly being the battling topic at hand. This time, though, I thought I’d turn to a controversial topic in the world of professional wrestling, and pit two competing wrestling programs against one another. This isn’t about ratings or drama or fandom, but rather a straight forward look at what I, a pro-wrestling fan who watches both WWE and Aew every week, thinks is the best show between Aew Dynamite and Nxt.
Now, this is bound to upset some people, but please, dear wrestling fan, understand that whichever outcome this article has, it doesn’t mean it’s “correct”. This is subjective, it’s all about opinions, and you can disagree, and that is your correct answer too. It is fun, though, to pit two things that are related against each other in order to choose which is,...

Na-than Of The Trans-Dimensional Empire Of Stu-pid: I am Na-than! I have a mustache and an eye-patch! Begin the show!

It’s easy to look forward to a TakeOver show, because time has taught us that way more often than not these events are packed with drama, action and lots of wrestling. Nxt TakeOver 31, taking place at the newly renamed and remodeled into the Capitol Wrestling Center, a tribute to Jess McMahon and Vince McMahon Sr, a respectful nod to the roots of where WWE, and Nxt, began. With fans on LED boards (much like the Thunderdome) and pods featuring groups of fans, this was a new look in a year filled with shows that take another step forward in adapting to how we currently are all living. Nxt TakeOver 31 was, as is the case most of the time, a five match card, with three of the Nxt Championships on the line.
