Alanis Sophia is a bilingual singer & actress born in San Juan, PR on July 11th, 2001. At a very young age, Alanis gave promising signs of singing, dancing, and acting abilities. She grew up watching Disney productions and adapting her personality to the characters in their shows. Her outgoing personality and charisma give her a sweet and funny sense of existence anywhere she presents herself. Her long terms goals are to someday make it as a singer/ actress and at the same time create a difference in the world. At the age of 5, Alanis moved to Tampa, FL, with a dream of helping her family, and her baby brother Juan Diego, diagnosed with ASD.
At eleven years old Alanis Sophia participated in the reality TV show "La Voz Kids Season 1 (The Voice Kids)". She made it to the final three and was crowned second place in the whole show. Prince Royce and the audience nicknamed her the "Rock Star" because of her explosive performances and exceptional talent and charisma. In 2014 Alanis was chosen among multiple recognized stars within the Hispanic Entertainment Business Network to represent a promotional campaign for tourism in the state of Florida. She happened to be the first Latina and the first ambassador in the history of Florida for four consecutive years. Her commercials and her jingles for Visit Florida's campaigns have aired all over the world, and because she is so involved in the social network, she has over 700,000 followers all together on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She has also worked as a host for NBC Telemundo Top Music Countdown segment, and as a host for multiple radio stations in Puerto Rico and Florida.
Alanis Sophia's hard work and dedication paid off as she was discovered by Grammy award-winning producer Julian Raymond and Big Machine Label Group, CEO, Scott Borchetta at the age of fifteen. She was signed as a recording artist with Big Machine records, and signed as a songwriter for the music publisher Big Machine Music. She released a Country EP named Closer. Her original song Closer was used for the COVID-19 promotion for the Nonprofit Company Volunteers of America (Campaign name: Volunteers of America Getting "Closer") in April 2020.
Some other projects that Alanis Sophia participated were: 2015 Adam Anders "Rosa" a Latin TV Pilot made in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2017 #TRUESTORY CLEAN & CLEAR AD, the face, and singer for international latin company Telce's "te conectamos con lo que amas" campaign, Special Guest as GIBSON SUMMER NAMM JAM 2019, the reality tv show American Idol 2021 (Top 16), PBS American Portrait Project 2021, and recently the famous Dennis DeYoungs The Hunchback of Notre Dame as the lead character Esmeralda, presented at the Skylight's Music Theater through Spring 2022.
