- Born to Canadian parents of Caribbean descent, Aisha grew up in Woodbridge, Ontario - a suburb north of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from York University.
She made her debut network television appearance on Syfy's 12 Monkeys and has since appeared in many network television and indie film projects.
Her second short film ShoeGazer, which she wrote, co- produced, and starred in, has screened at numerous Oscar Qualifying and Canadian Screen Academy Qualifying Festivals, and also earned her a 2019 Black Canadian Filmmaker of the year nomination esteemed online Black Culture Periodical ByBlacks.com.
Aisha's directorial debut, Naval Gazing (written by Charis Anne Wiens) has just wrapped with a world premiere pending.

Recent directing credits include the short film Alex (2022) which premiered at Holly Shorts and was an Official Selection at the Austin Film Festival.
