Elyfer Torres is a young actress who debuts as a star in the Telemundo production Betty en NY as Beatriz Rincon, the lead role.
After interviewing and casting over 300 actresses they found the new "Betty".
Elyfer won "Best New Actress" for her role in Betty en NY in the Cancun, Produ awards.
Elyfer is rising as a foam in the Latinx entertainment industry. She is an actress, singer and dancer. She has been studying acting since she was very young.
In 2018 she filmed her first TV series. Elyfer Torres gave life to Claire in the second season of La Piloto. In addition, she was part of the cast of El Secreto de Selena. The resemblance to Selena Quintanilla and the transformation capabilities of Torres gave her the opportunity to cast as Gabriela Contreras, the most famous impersonator of Selena. The series was released in TNT LatinoAmerica.
Elyfer also performs in the series Nicky Jam: El Ganador, for Netflix LatinoAmerica. Her Caribbean look and fluency with Latin accents led her to play the role of Julia, a Puerto Rican who is related to the singer.
Before that, at age 18 she starred in HHL, an international short film that was part of the Cannes festival official selection, Sitges Film Festival, FICM Morelia international Film Festival, among others.
She is based in Los Angeles, California.
