Emma James is a British actress, writer and producer, starring as Sandy in the upcoming short film 'Beauty Sleep' written and directed by Jasmine De Silva and more recently playing Nina in 'Lizard' written and directed by James Pike-Watson.
Born in Hammersmith, James graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2015. Whilst at drama school she received a place in the BBC Carleton Hobbs Radio competition. She later represented her school in The Globe Theatre's annual Sam Wanamaker Festival playing Gertrude in Hamlet.
James has gone on to have a varied career as a theatre actor, notable productions include Cassandra in 'Human Emotional Process' written by Jose Rivera performed at West End's The Arts Theatre. She performed in 'Start Swimming' written by James Fritz and directed by Ola Ince and performed at The Young Vic Theatre/Summerhall. And playing Hannah in 'Kings' written and directed by Oli Forsyth, performed at The New Diorama.
