Ifall
- Composer
Ifall is an alias of England-based Brazilian composer and producer Caio Duarte, known for his work in film soundtracks and a vast discography connected strongly to rock and metal music.
As a solo recording artist, Ifall released a 2014 self-titled debut album, a 2019 cinematic re-imagining of metal songs in partnership with a South American indigenous-themed outfit, and the 2020 lock-down album "Too Long; Didn't Listen". His solo work ranges from mellow and intimate to hard-hitting and cynical, drawing influences from jazz, world music, art rock, progressive metal and Brazilian folk.
As a film composer Ifall is known for interleaving narrative emotion with richly textured arrangements, structural minimalism and a markedly experimental verve.
