Frank Adamski(1984-2011)
Frank E. Adamski was born in Port Jefferson, NY to Frank E. Adamski Jr. and Susan Adamski of Port Jefferson, NY. He moved to Connecticut from Long Island at age nine, he attended elementary school in Voluntown, CT. Afterwards, he moved to Plainfield graduating from Plainfield High School . Frank participated in football and track. He joined the Army in March 2005, completed basic training in Ft. Benning, GA. He was then stationed in Friedberg, Germany where he was attached to the 1/36th infantry, 1st brigade, 1st armored division. His first deployment was to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He married Danielle Adamski in March 2007. After returning home, he was stationed in Georgia at Ft. Benning. In early 2009, he re-enlisted and was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY where he was attached to the 101st Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles" (Air assault), In February of 2010, he became a proud father of a daughter. Shortly after his daughter's birth, he was deployed to Kunar Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he was killed in action.
