Laura Charlesworth-Murphy (born 1986) is an English-American actress and artist. Laura was born in Nottingham, England to Glen Charlesworth, a nurse, and Jade Lenthall, a retail manager. She spent her young childhood in England, and moved to America with her mother and siblings at the age of ten. Laura spent the remainder of her youth in Grants Pass, Oregon, where she fell in love with art and drama, acting in school plays and community theater.
Murphy stepped away from the creative arts until 2009 when she stepped into the role of Jhonny's Girl in the indie film Hit and Miss, which was written and directed by Robert Simmons. She revised this role in Hit and Miss 2, in 2012. In 2014 she co-starred in the independent movie A Little Bit of Murder (also written and directed by Robert Simmons) as Crystal, which went on to win the 2016 Best Horror award at the Oregon Independent Film Festival. She has since worked in commercials and theater, and on other local and independent projects.
