Erika Lynn Jolie is an actress, writer, producer, and director- best known for her work on "F**K LOVE (2022)." Erika has been interested in performing since she started dance classes at age three and singing lessons soon after.
When she was twelve years old, she decided to branch into acting. Erika's first major onscreen acting role was two years later, in "Percy Jackson Web Series" (2017), which she also produced and directed. Since then, she has been taking on many new roles both in front of and behind the camera.
In 2019, she wrote, produced, directed, and starred in "The Haven Project," which has gone on to screen at a variety of film festivals across the world in 2020. Erika picked up award after award for her work as both an actress and young filmmaker.
In 2020, Erika managed to write, produce, and direct four shorts geared toward working with a small, socially-distant cast and crew. One of these films was "Acceptance," starring Serena Roan, which went on to screen at festivals across the country and win the Best Short Short Award at the Brightside Film Festival in August 2021. Erika's next film "Remember Us," starring Nicolette Pierini, was released in late 2021 as part of her Quarantine Collection, along with her remaining two shorts: "Lost" and "Noise."
Erika has has been developing a feature film titled "Only You" since May 2020, and that script is what inspired the short film "The Mountains Call Me Home" that she shot in June 2021. After she wrapped production on "The Mountains Call Me Home," Erika jumped right into production on Annaliese Curry's "The Thompson's" and Shannon Walden's "The Secrets We Hide." To wrap up an incredibly busy summer, Erika wrote, co-directed, produced, and starred in yet another short film "F**K LOVE."
In 2022, Erika branched into music work. She directed two music videos for June: "Gas Pedal" and "Timelapse." She has also taken up a hobby of recording her own music, and her song "f**k love!" is featured in the end credits of her short film "F**K LOVE." To wrap up 2022, Erika directed yet another short film "Grace & Chloe" in August and brought "F**K LOVE" through the festival circuit, where she was acknowledged for her work as both an actress and director with numerous awards.
In 2023, with "Grace & Chloe" set for a fall festival run, her first EP in the works, and her first feature slated for production next year, Erika is busier than ever... and her career is only just beginning.
