Sieng Dy was born in 1945. She was an Cambodian singer/actress. She was mostly known for her beautiful singing voice in films she appeared in. Such as Apsara (1966) and La Joie de Vivre (1969). She sang along side with Sinn Sisamouth in Apsara (1966). She was also known for her songs in La Joie de Vivre (1969) when she sang "Song of Hopelessness" and Pen Ran's song "Rom a Go-Go". As of December 3, 2020, Those are her only known acting credits. Her singing and acting career ended shortly when the Khmer Rouge began in 1975. Sieng Dy (later known as Princess Sieng Dy after marrying a member of the Sisowath family), also was from a musical family, with sisters So Sovinra and Sieng Vanthy also being famous voices of the era. She had also made an appearance as herself in the 2014 documentary, Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock and Roll (2014). She later passed away in a United States hospital after a bad fall at 12:40 pm on August 18, 2019 in Lakewood, California, USA.
