Megan Theresa Cochrane was born in Walla Walla, Washington. She grew up in Mattawan, Michigan and enjoyed all the benefits of a rural upbringing, including her second passion - horseback riding. Her mother, Sandra Cochrane, is a business woman. Her father, Blake Cochrane, is a laboratory manager. She attended Mattawan Consolidated Schools for her primary education, graduating in 2013. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, an additional major in journalism, and a public relations minor. Megan began acting in children's summer camps, high school plays, and community theatre opportunities before securing regular roles in the collegiate setting. Her first feature film was Stay With Me (2017), part of MSU's Theatre2Film project, which premiered at the Traverse City Film Festival.
