Kwame Opoku-Duku is a poet, fiction writer, and filmmaker. His words are featured or forthcoming in the Massachusetts Review, Gigantic Sequins, Perigee, Flock, Posit, Profane, Hobart, and elsewhere. He made his New York City theater debut in the 2015 Fringe Festival play A Spot on the Wall, directed by Temar Underwood, alongside Brett Michael Davenport, and he has appeared in several independent films. Deep Shadows (2016) was his first film as a director. His second film, Infirmary, starring Brenda Lee Perez and Davenport, is forthcoming.
