Elaine Collado

Elaine Collado is a Dominican-American model and actress born in Providence, Rhode Island. Her parents, Esther Cordero and Luis Collado, migrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic in the 90s. Elaine grew up in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood on the south side of Providence. Her upbringing was very rich in culture as Providence has one of the largest Caribbean communities in the U.S. This Bilingual beauty queen competed in both Miss USA and Miss Teen USA after being crowned Miss Rhode Island USA 2022 and Miss Rhode Island Teen back in 2013. Elaine was the first Afro Latina to win each title. "I saw pageantry as a way of tapping into my fullest potential. When I won Miss Rhode Island Teen it opened my eyes to a whole new world outside of the inner city that I grew up in". Being a part of the prestigious Miss USA platform has helped Elaine make qualitative impact as a Youth Advocate in her hometown. "It is an honor to inspire and lead by example for our youth to follow their dreams." Elaine is married to recording artist/producer Kennedy Ward and they are now residing in Los Angeles, California.
