Jared Wignall, born May 16th, 1994 in Des Moines, IA, is an actor, writer and filmmaker. When he was 16, he starred in the short film How to Use a Universal Remote (2010) which he co-wrote and co-produced for a project made for film class. For his efforts on making the short, Wignall, along with Dalton Viggers, Cody Warren, and Aaron Wylie, won Best Short Film at the Cider Rapids Independent Film Festival after their school project was submitted and entered at the festival. Wignall continues to act in various film projects around town, particularly with Joshua Brown and Daniel Brown, as well as his own projects. He's also written a few books, a western called The Wandering Sheriff, a book of short stories called Downtime and Conversations and a crime book called Happy Holidays.
