Shelley Segal is an award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and composer. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Segal's musical journey began at age 11, performing traditional Klezmer music with her father's band.
After completing a Bachelor of Applied Music, Segal began releasing music under her own artist project. She became known for her poignant folk and pop songs that blend personal narratives with sociopolitical commentary Her debut album, "An Atheist Album," garnered international acclaim and led to years of headlining tours across USA and Europe. She has performed to festival crowds of over 30,000 and her music receives airplay worldwide.
After a 2016 move to Los Angeles, Shelley leads music production company Secret Sauce and label/publishing house True Music, where she works with a team of #1 charting songwriters and producers, creating music for artists and for film and TV.
Shelley is an alumni of Music to Life's Changemaker Program and the Recording Academy's Grammy NEXT Program. She regularly performs for grassroots activists and communities using her music to create the world she wants to see.
