Chris Charles Scott, is a native of New Chapel Hill (Tyler), TX. He is Co-Founder, and Head of Documentaries for Strategery Films. Chris' work began in politics serving as the Director of Community Outreach for Congressman Chet Edwards. He has served with Obama for America, and relocated in 2010 to Las Vegas, NV to work as the Regional Field Director for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's successful re-election campaign. In 2015, Chris founded Strategery Films which specializes in documentary films. His 2015 series, The Shape of Shreveport, was awarded Documentary of the Year by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities in 2016. His 2017 series, What About Waco, was awarded the Grand Jury Prize of the Deep in The Heart of Texas Film Festival. His latest work, Class Action Park has been featured in the New York Times and is one of the top streaming programs on HBO Max. Chris is a resident of Las Vegas, NV where he is active with The Grant a Wish Autism Foundation, and a guest editorial contributor for the Las Vegas Sun. Chris is a 2004 Political Science graduate of Baylor with a minor in Great Texts. He also attended seminary at Princeton.
