Mia Rivera is an Award-Winning Creator, Writer, Producer and Songwriter. While she loves acting in all genres, her writing leans towards comedy as clearly displayed in her film, "Lizzy's Plan" which has won over 100+ film festival accolades in 17 countries - including Best Short Film of Season, Best Short Film of Festival, Best Comedy Film, Best Producer, Best Actor of Festival, Best Music and more... Since then, she has filmed and screened Episode Two - "Lizzy's Plan: 3 Peas in a Podcast" and is in development of Episode Three, writing a fourth episode and has 25 episode stories written already.
Mia is a proud U.S. Army Veteran and she graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric from U.C. Berkeley. Post graduate study has included studying at UCLA and USC in her many areas of interest in the Entertainment Business. She stays connected to her military service with memberships in the American Legion, Hollywood Post 43; VME - Veterans in Media and Entertainment; the Writers Guild - Veterans Writers Program; Warrior Bards and Wordcommandos.
