Since graduating from Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2015 with a BA (Honors) in Drama, actor and vocalist Jack James Busa has relocated to New York City. Recent credits include appearances on such television shows as the FOX original series Gotham, Rabbit Foot's forthcoming Rock Me (TBD), and the lead role in World Domination Picture's Mister Sister (2021), a performance which earned him a Winter Film Awards nomination for Best Actor.
Busa is the frontman of burgeoning glam rock band UNI and The Urchins whose debut studio album was released in 2023 to critical acclaim. Jack James Busa balances acting roles and national tours with headliners such as The Flaming Lips, The Dandy Warhols, Starcrawler, and The Claypool Lennon Delirium with Sean Ono Lennon, and Primus bassist Les Claypool. In 2021, Busa started DJing with partner Daniel Walters under the name The Muses and have spun for the Ali Forney Center, Apple TV, Lincoln Center, Netflix, The Whitney Museum, and various downtown nightclubs and private events; guest of a guest dubbed them the "it DJ duo" of 2022.
Additionally, Busa hosts an internationally syndicated monthly radio show on Soho Radio London titled, The Jack James Show, whose guests include Charlotte Kemp Muhl, Jake Wesley Rodgers, and John Cameron Mitchell.
