N.E.P.H.E.W was born Te'Riel Lloyd in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He first started releasing music in the early 2000s. After building a fan base in Chicago with two mix tapes and two full-length albums, Te'Riel secured a partnership with Sony/Viacom in Los
Angeles writing and recording music for film and television. Outside of
his artistry, Te'Riel conceived and established Grind Mind Music Global.
The label merges music and film by signing and developing artists
across both entertainment platforms.
