Identical twin YouTube duo Veronica and Vanessa Merrell, known to their 6 million subscribers as the Merrell Twins, are launching several new ventures surrounding their Awesomeness series Twin My Heart.

Twin My Heart, a dating competition hosted by the twins -- which in its third season currently features TikTok star Nate Wyatt in the bachelor’s seat -- has now yielded both an accompanying podcast and merch storefront, ViacomCBS-owned Awesomeness said.

In Twin My Heart: The Podcast, premiering this Sunday on Spotify, Apple, and Stitcher, the twins will break down the show's buzziest onscreen moments as well as behind-the-scenes gossip that didn’t make the final cut. They will also delve into the casting process, what it was like filming during the Covid pandemic, and more.

Additionally, the Twin My Heart merch shop, powered by Shopify, will feature branded stickers, pins, hoodies, and T-shirts priced between $1 and $50.

Over nearly eight years, YouTube stars Veronica and Vanessa Merrell have never missed a weekly video upload to their channel.

That work ethic has helped the identical twins grow their fanbase to nearly 6 million followers on the platform for their comedy sketches, original songs, vlogs, and other light fare.

And their tenure puts the Merrell Twins, now 24, in a class of Og digital influencers. The sisters (along with their parents) have established a production company, True Image Productions, with several TV shows and movies they’re pitching to studios and networks. They’re also hosting season 3 of their reality dating show “Twin My Heart,” shot last fall and currently airing on ViacomCBS’s AwesomenessTV channel on YouTube.

Some digital creators, after hitting a fame spike, have burned out and faded away. But the Merrell Twins expect to continue making YouTube videos, the mainstay of their business endeavors, for the rest of their career.

ViacomCBS-owned Awesomeness, which creates content for Gen Z, has unveiled a duo of digital series starring two of YouTube’s most beloved sets of twins.

Veronica and Vanessa Merrell -- known as the Merrell Twins (5.7 million subscribers, 17 million monthly views) -- will star in Mystery Twin Bin on Oct. 17, while Niki and Gabi DeMartino (whose Niki & Gabi channel counts 9.5 million subscribers and 10 million monthly views) will debut a new series called Twintervention on Dec. 11.

Both the Merrells and DeMartinos already have series at Awesomeness -- the dating show Twin My Heart (which Awesomeness confirmed is returning for a third season with bachelor Nate Wyatt) and reality series Niki & Gabi Take Bahamas, respectively.

In Mystery Twin Bin, the Merrells will receive mystery boxes containing clues to challenges, whereupon they will compete -- head-to-head -- across six episodes. Twintervention, which also compromises six episodes, will follow the polar-opposite DeMartino twins as...

I grew up in the era of the body-swap movie, the 1980s, where a resurgence in the genre led to films like Big, Vice Versa, 18 Again, Like Father Like Son, and my personal favourite (and one of my Top 5 films of all time) Dream a Little Dream. Since then there have been a myriad of such films, be they family friendly like 13 Going on 30 and the Lindsay Lohan-starring Freaky Friday remake; to more raunchy fare like The Change-Up and The Hot Chick… Most have one thing in common: the characters within learn from the situation. Switched is no different, however never have I ever experienced a body swap film like this one.
