- He played all the instruments on the first demos of his solo album.
- After college Nathan rode a bicycle from San Francisco to Washington D.C. in an event called The Journey of Hope, which raises funds and awareness for people with disabilities. He filled in for someone who was unable to go and left after only 10 days notice. The average distance traveled each day was about 80 miles, the longest day was 146 miles.
- His previous bands include one that recorded with and was produced by two members of the band Other Lives and also featured a member of Colourmusic on the album. He is making his solo debut with an EP recorded at Bell Labs in Norman OK, produced by Grammy Award winner Trent Bell (Chainsaw Kittens). The EP features performances by Trent himself and drums from Rob Martin of The Sugar Free Allstars.
- Nathan is a mostly self taught musician, can play the guitar, keys, bass, and drums. Started the solo thing this past year after starting several successful bands where he was a lead guitar, keys/organ player, and backup singer. He creates music in his favorite styles and genres to form a unique mixture of Indie Rock, Folk, Blues, Funk, and Jazz.
