Jonathan Russell(VII)

Jonathan David Russell is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, film composer and songwriter. Before Jonathan turned thirteen, he had already caught the eyes of jazz musicians Wynton Marsalis, Bucky Pizarelli and the late Les Paul. At just nineteen years-old, Jonathan is the youngest composer to work with Human in New York City, scoring advertisements for reputable brands. Jonathan has also gained recognition at jazz festivals in Hungary as well as across the United States. While studying at NYU Steinhardt, Jonathan's violin covers of top 40's hits songs make him a must-see street performer in Central Park. In his film scoring work, he has worked both individually on a number of independent films as well as working with Wayne Sharp on the film Aarakshan.
