Hallie grew up in Northampton, Massachusetts and attended Oberlin College, where she studied theater and comparative literature.
As a youth, she performed in theatre, playing Chloe in Arcadia, Toinette in The Imaginary Invalid, Adriana in The Comedy of Errors, and Maria in Twelfth Night, among others.
Hallie is a trained soprano and speaks conversational French. She has also been a teaching artist for 20 years, teaching theater, writing, art, improv, and academic subjects.
