Describe as a consummate professional by many directors, Julien Romano already has a very rich life and career.
Born to a French Mother and an Italian Father, Julien always wanted to be a professional tennis player. Career he embraced between 20 and 26 years old before he became a coach.
Julien discovered a new passion for acting at the age of 28. He moved to the United-States two years later to improve his skills. Back in Paris, he played in more than 50 various stage productions and 50 movies. In 2015, he started writing and directing with his first play "The Deadend". In 2018 his third written play "To Life" was released and published in France.
Competitions and travel forged his unique character. The power of his personality is something that appears on each parts he had to play. So after few apparitions in bigger productions in Europe and the States, it's quite naturally that he got the lead role in two feature movies Vortex and Spiral In 2019; and started to build his international reputation with three awards for Best Actor.
More recently, he played alongside Joan Collins in the award winner short movie "The Gentle Sex", written by Dougie Brimson. And in 2023 he continued his collaboration with the french director Sofiene Mamdi, getting the lead role in the longest unbroken one shot feature film in French cinema history, "Assemblage".
