Denny Duron is a Christian pastor, inventor, educator, author, public-speaker, composer, producer, and legendary high school football coach. He is the founder of the football program at Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana, and led the program to national prominence during his 30-year coaching career.
As a college athlete, Duron was the quarterback at Louisiana Tech, leading the Bulldogs to two national championships in 1972 and 1973. As an honorable mention All-American in his senior season, Duron was drafted into the World Football League, playing two seasons for the Birmingham Americans. He signed with the Washington Redskins in 1976, ultimately deciding to pursue a career in teaching and ministry. He is a member of the Louisiana Tech Football Hall of Fame.
Duron's non-profit organization, Winner's Circle International, oversees The Educational Center for Autism and Eagle Creek Recovery Center
He is married to DeAnza. They have seven children.
