Emily Kaczmarek

Emily Kaczmarek [pronounced KAZ-mer-ack] is a Los Angeles-based writer for TV, theatre, and film. As a writer/producer, Emily has worked on shows like Monsterland (Hulu), The Staircase (HBOMax), and American Gigolo (Showtime), and has multiple TV and film projects in development with Sony, Fifth Season, Amazon, and others. Her plays and musicals have been developed and produced at theaters across the country, and she has been an artist in residence at places like New York Stage and Film, Space on Ryder Farm, and the Hermitage Artist Retreat. Emily is a 2018 Jonathan Larson Grant Recipient and was nominated for a 2022 Writers Guild Award for The Staircase. And whenever possible, she sings.
