Princeton Drake
- Actor
Princeton Drake is African American award-winning film and television actor who loves the art of storytelling and portraying diverse characters. He born and raised in the great rocket city of Huntsville, Alabama and is the oldest of three children. Growing up, Princeton played sports, participated in the marching band (where he played the snare and tenor drums), and he loved the medical field. However, he always had a huge love for the arts, especially acting and performing. In college, while pursuing a nursing degree, a friend of Princeton's encouraged him to take an acting class, due to his huge interest in the arts, and that's when he caught the acting bug.
Princeton graduated from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida where I majored in Telecommunications and Film, and minor in Theatre- with an acting concentration. He also holds an International ESL/TEFL certification and can teach the subject of English in a country or city in the world. After graduating from college, Princeton began pursuing a full-time career in the entertainment industry. With over a decade of acting experience Princeton can be seen in many featured films, indie films, television series, music videos, and commercials. Although working in the entertainment industry can be challenging at times, Princeton believes that God has given him grace, favor, strength, talent, and keen vision to work and thrive in the entertainment industry for the rest of his life.
In November of 2020, Princeton along with two others, started the non-profit/ a performing arts studio, Divine Legacy Conservatory, in his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama. The mission and vision at Divine Legacy Conservatory is to train, develop, and launch the professional careers of artists (actors, writers, producers, directors, and dancers) who are seeking to work and thrive in the entertainment industry for the rest of their lives.
