The 2024 British Fashion Awards brought out So many stars!

Alessandra Ambrosio, Glen Powell, Julia Fox and Leomie Anderson were just a handful of the celebs in attendance at the event held at Royal Albert Hall on Monday night (December 2) in London.

The annual event is presented by the British Fashion Council and “is a key fundraiser for the Bfc Foundation and celebrates the role of fashion at the intersection of culture and entertainment, spotlighting creative talent and telling the stories of the year in fashion.”

Ivan Bart, the former president of Img Models who helped launch the modeling careers of the likes of Lauren Hutton, Carolyn Murphy, Stephanie Seymour and Gigi and Bella Hadid, died over the weekend following a short illness. He was 60.

The news was posted on his official Instagram account with a black-and-white photo of Bart. A caption on the photo reads, “Our world has lost one of the greats. Ivan Bart, 1963-2023.” No other details were immediately available.

He was named president of the agency in 2014, after it merged with WME. Under Bart’s leadership, Img Models also built the careers of Hailey Bieber, Alton Mason, Wisdom Kaye and others.

Olly Alexander has reacted to the news that Johnny Depp will make a featured appearance in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Vol 4 fashion showcase.

The Independent has confirmed the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s name features in the show’s end credits.

On Thursday (3 November), Alexander responded with a sad face to a Pop Crave tweet that read: “Depp will become the first man to have his own spotlight segment at Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show.”

A fan replied to the British singer’s apparent upset over Depp’s cameo confirmation, writing: “But, Savage X Fenty is you baby... you wear it so well.”

“Thank you but after this news I won’t be wearing it anymore,” the Years & Years singer replied.

Alexander has partnered with Rihanna’s fashion brand in the past, joining Savage X Fenty’s Valentine lingerie campaign in 2022.

Following recent rumours of Depp’s guest appearance, which alarmed Rihanna fans, The Independent has confirmed his name features in the show’s end credits.

The Savage X Fenty Vol 4 show is described as a “fashion experience” and will include performances from Anitta and Burna Boy, plus cameos from models including Irina Shayk, Cara Delevingne, and Precious Lee.

It will premiere on Prime Video on 9 November.

The Independent has contacted Amazon for comment about Depp’s role.

For model Precious Lee, eating wholesome meals isn’t a chore.

“I actually crave healthy foods like green juice, nuts and kombucha,” Lee, 28, tells People.

But the 5’11” model, who flat out says she “doesn’t diet,” has made changes to her eating habits to incorporate healthier routines.

“I have learned that portion control is key,” she says. “Eating a fist full of chocolate covered raisins for dessert is okay — just don’t eat the whole box! I’ve also learned to eat slower and actually savor the meal. I try to avoid eating while watching TV as well.”

The fashion magazine Elle has teamed up with YouTube to launch a series called Fashion For All, which will promote inclusivity in the world of fashion.

Episodes of Fashion For All will be filmed at YouTube Space NY and will feature stars like Keke​ ​Palmer​, Cassandra​ ​Bankson​, Nikita​ ​Dragun​, Ari​ ​Fitz​, Loey​ ​Lane​, and Iskra Lawrence​. Each highlighted creator will have an opportunity to share her story and will offer a few thoughts on the topic of inclusivity. Elle will also take time to profile people who are changing the face of the fashion industry; among them is Precious Lee, a plus-size black model.
