An Artist at the core and a passion for acting he studied the Meisner and Stanislavski techniques while obtaining practical training from Actor/Director Randy Kovitz with Mosser Casting, Stage/Theater Director Allison M. Weakland with Point Park University and Actors Dustin Hoffman and Kevin Spacey with Master Classes.
His college course work and work history afforded the versatility necessary to expand his industry mark with Producer/Director credits with Award winning films "Grandpa" (EP/AD), "Reflections ~ FTM" (P/D/W) and upcoming SAG features "Unearth" (LP/Actor) and "DOT Theory" (P/D).
Lee was born and raised Randy Lee Bartosh on February 13, 1971 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Katherine A. Zimmerman, a hotel manager and Ronald Bartosh, a small business owner/operator. He has an older brother, Ronald Bartosh Jr. (Ronnie) and a younger brother, Richard, who passed away at 16 due to cancer complications. While in school, Randy enjoyed being part of several musical acts, photography, student counsel. art and drawing. He then attended CCAC North for Emergency Medicine followed by Business courses at Duquesne University where he left before graduating to mange the F.B.O. Pro Flight Center and gain his licensure as a Pilot. Before finding success as an Actor and Producer, Lee supported himself and his daughter through business ventures in temporary body art, tattooing, custom artwork, and custom painting/finishes for autos.
Gaining a foundation through working with John Goodman as his stand in and photo double under Director Jessi Nelson and with actors Diane Keaton, Olivia Wilde and Amanda Seyfried on the CBS film "Love The Coopers", a feature with Will Smith on "Concussion" and again with Amanda Seyfried and Aaron Paul on "Fathers and Daughters".e has worked on Cinemax's Banshee (2015) as a SI and feature and WGN's Outsiders (2016) where he appeared in front of the camera as a militia member and behind the scenes with the Producers, Writer and Principal Cast to create many of the temporary tattoo designs used for the principal and supporting cast in the show.
He is elated to have found support and a following through roles created for local indies including the lead roles of "Ace" in the award winning film "Ace & Chase" and as "Jim Buck" in the award winning Fuzzy Fellas Films short "Last Rain", which he also produced and followed with working production for films such as "Truce" (S), "Grandpa" (EP/AD), "Reflections ~ FTM" (P/D/W), TV shows "What's Goin' On, Pittsburgh" (W/D/A), "The Daniel Forbes Show" (P/D/W) and the television pilot "Mulligan" where he was the casting agent.
