- Eminent pianist, her main teacher was Alfred Cortot. She became the main interpreter of Érik Satie's music and an adjunct member of the Groupe des Six.
- Died of a heart attack while playing piano at her sister's home in Paris.
- Meyer's keyboard repertory ranged from Baroque to contemporary music. Her discography (1925-1957) was later compiled into 17 CDs.
- After World War I Meyer was composer Erik Satie's friend and favorite interpreter of his piano works. In 1922 she produced an important three-concert series of his music in Paris. Unfortunately, she never recorded a note of it.
