Chicago native, Margie Shabazz is an established bi-lingual Director, Producer and Production Manager with domestic and international experience in the finance, media & entertainment industry. With a combined 15 years of experience in video production and still photography, she has a unique amalgamation of progressive number crunching and artistic creativity. Her portfolio spans hundreds of productions, with a variety of clients, which incorporates both her business/production management and creative development skills. Her most recent endeavors include independent film production and development of television sitcoms.
She formed White City Films in 2015 creating a platform to unite the many talented and creative professionals she has partnered with through the years. Margie works closely with independent entrepreneurs, industry professionals and with fellow alums from DePaul University to develop financially sound projects that advance the filmmaking community. Whether working locally or abroad, her mind is always on the priority of keeping within budget, while maintaining the creative integrity of the project .
