Giancarlo Murano was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. In his early education, he participated in school plays and opera musicals developing a passion for the stage and entertaining others. He began acting lessons during his teen years and worked as a background extra. He was always amazed at the amount of work and effort required to put together a television episode or a feature film.
Giancarlo entered university at age 17 and focused on his education, graduating with an Honours Degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, a Bachelor in Education, and a Minor in Kinesiology. Following these educational achievements, he then ventured to Los Angeles after being accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Returning to Toronto, he resumed acting which would mark the beginning of a promising career. Giancarlo has been casted for feature films, television shows, and multiple commercials. He deeply enjoys the process of collaborating with other creatives while working toward the same goal.
