They were the slaps heard around the world on Tell Me Lies Season 2 Episode 6! Do people actually play slap-shot? That seems like a surefire way to end some friendships!
Granted, most of these characters are already on shaky ground with each other. It seems like the writers wanted to find the most volatile way to ruin Thanksgiving.
Tell Me Lies is not pulling any punches, and neither is Lucy! This episode was supercharged with high-flying hormones and emotions to the max! It’s no wonder some of these characters are not doing great academically.
(Josh Stringer/Disney)
That said, the series excels at sucking viewers right into the squabbles and underhanded attempts to ruin lives and reputations. It’s a wonder that any of them showed up at Bree’s wedding in 2015.
Anonymous VoteSign in with WordPressDo You Think Lucy Was Wrong For Slapping Diana?Yes. That was going too far.

Mama, the straights are not okay because these kids on Tell Me Lies are wildin’ out with Nick Cannon and have got me plucked! Listen, I am all about the drama, but these children are mess, mess, messy!
If you had told me a year ago that I would be this invested in a show about the most extra and dramatic college kids ever, I would’ve said you’d never catch me watching a single frame.
Well, we will call this growth something that the characters on Tell Me Lies desperately need. Even the adult characters who should know better seem just as childish. It is pettiness to the max, and I love it!
(Josh Stringer/Disney)
I have embraced my toxic relationship with this series. But don’t worry because I can quit this show anytime I want — right?

Drew's absence looms large in Tell Me Lies Season 2.
Drew (Benjamin Wadsworth) has been a mainstay of Tell Me Lies since Season 1. He is Wrigley's (Spencer House) brother who commits an irreversible mistake that causes Macy's (Lily McInerny) death.
His involvement is revealed as early as Episode 2 since he tells Wrigley and Stephen (Jackson Wright) about Macy's accident. He leaves without calling the authorities because he has been drinking that time and he is scared of the repercussions.

Love to hate, or hate to love? That is the question in Tell Me Lies Season 2. Hulu dropped the official trailer for the second season, based on Carola Lovering’s novel, on August 8. Lucy (Grace Van Patten), Stephen (Jackson White), Diana (Alicia Crowder), Pippa (Sonia Mena), Bree (Catherine Missal), Wrigley (Spencer House), and Evan (Branden Cook) all return to Baird for a new semester, and the battle lines are drawn after Stephen and Lucy’s messy breakup at the end of Season 1. Stephen doesn’t waste any time gaslighting and twisting the knife in Lucy’s back when they get back to school. “I’m really sorry for hurting you so badly last year. I embarrassed you over and over again, and I’m sure that made you feel terrible about yourself,” Stephen says, his words laced with venom. But Lucy’s had enough of Stephen’s games (for now). “You’re right.

Hulu’s steamy drama series “Tell Me Lies” is returning this fall and will showcase a toxic new dynamic between recent exes Lucy and Stephen.
In Thursday’s trailer for the new season, which debuts Wednesday, Sept. 4, Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) reunite at college following their dramatic breakup at the start of summer. Lucy is determined to shake off the drama and focus on school, insisting she’s not even worried about Stephen. In fact, she says she was in some sort of “delusional state last year.”
Upon their return to college, however, Stephen’s taunting doesn’t help her case, as he approaches her with a public apology, admitting he embarrassed her “over and over again.” “I’m sure that made you feel terrible about yourself,” he tells Lucy in the trailer.
“You’re right — I am still mad,” she concedes later on.

Tell Me Lies Season 2 picks up as Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) return to college, not speaking after their dramatic breakup at the start of the summer.
Yet, while very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic – which is as infuriating as it is inescapable.
Meanwhile, the story expands deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen’s friend group, as the fallout from Season One impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.
The cast includes Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Tom Ellis. Thomas Doherty is a recurring guest star.

Cobra Kai Season 6 is finally here and it’s even better than the last one, which no one thought was possible. The Netflix series follows the story of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who has kind of left bullying and turned into a karate instructor. The series continues the story of the 1984 film The Karate Kid, in which Johnny lost the “All Valley Karate Tournament” to his enemy Daniel (Ralph Macchio). In the series, Johnny inspires weak kids to learn karate so that they can stand up to their bullies and fight to protect themselves. Still, everything goes wrong in a very entertaining way and many iconic characters from the Karate Kid movies appear in the series. So, if you love the teen drama, action comedy, and martial arts in Cobra Kai here are some similar shows you could watch while waiting for Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2.

After that messy, messy end to Season 1, we’ll get to see what’s next for Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White). Hulu has renewed Tell Me Lies for a second season. The series follows Lucy and Stephen’s tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of eight years. They meet at college, and what unfolds affects everyone around them. The first season also starred Catherine Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Benjamin Wadsworth, and Alicia Crowder. In the finale, flashbacks showed Stephen driving the night Macy (Lily McInerny) died. Plus, Lucy watched as he left a college party with his ex, Diana (Crowder), then got drunk with Bree’s (Missal) boyfriend Evan (Cook) and woke up in bed with him the next morning. Meanwhile, at the party in 2015, Lucy and Stephen reunited… right before his fiancée, her (former) best friend, Lydia (Natalee Linez), joined them.

Hulu has renewed soapy college drama “Tell Me Lies” for Season 2, one month after the first season finale hit the streaming service.
“Tell Me Lies” documents the tumultuous relationship between then college students Lucy and Stephen as it unfolds over eight years, with its first season hinging on the mysterious death of Lucy’s first year roommate.
Though no official Season 2 release date or information about cast or plot are known, executive producer and showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer told TheWrap before the renewal that a potential second season would showcase more of the characters’ adult years starting with the engagement party, while also picking up where the series left off in college.
Oppenheimer also teased in October that potential future episodes will shine a light on other ensemble characters, namely Diana and Bree, since “everyone wants a lot more Bree.”

Typically, it probably wouldn’t be a good thing that, after five hourlong episodes — halfway into the season! — I still don’t quite know what to make of Stephen (Jackson White), the male lead of Hulu’s Tell Me Lies. Here, though, it’s just proof the show is working exactly as intended.
Whenever he starts to tiptoe toward full-on villainy, the series will grant him a heartbreaking reveal or a moment of genuine sweetness; whenever he threatens to seem too likable, it’ll drop in a casual reminder of how breathtakingly callous he can be. The push-pull puts us more or less in the same shoes as protagonist Lucy (Grace Van Patten), who spends years wriggling on his hook before she’s finally able to cut herself free — and it’s that keen understanding of the psychology driving its central relationship that distinguishes Tell Me Lies from any number...

"Three things I got good at to survive: running, fighting, and stealing." HBO Max has unveiled a full trailer for their new adaptation of the beloved book titled The Time Traveler's Wife. This is another new take on the book, as they already made the The Time Traveler's Wife movie, with Eric Bana & Rachel McAdams, which first opened in 2009. This new series stars Rose Leslie & Theo James as the couple dealing with the challenges of random time travel. For those unfamilair with this, it's not so much of a story about time travel as it is a romance about the difficulties of finding and staying in love. "Every moment matters," the tagline states. The cast also includes Jason David, Kate Siegel, Jaime Ray Newman, Josh Stamberg, Taylor Richardson, Spencer House, & Michael Park. Wow this looks damn good, I quite like the way into gets into all these existential questions between the two of them.
