Born in 1988 in Ankara. Enes Ates traveled to Germany and is trained in Media Studies and Cinema at the University of Paderborn. He holds a master's degree of Cinema&Television from Kadir Has University. His short films received many prices. His first feature film, The Last Party is released in 2019 in Europe and Far East. He teaches Film Analytics at Istanbul Cinematheque.
