The NBC special features a collection of viral videos from winter sports bloopers, festive fails, and gift-giving mishaps. Joining the pair for clip-related gameplay are Gina Brillon, Jay Jurden, and Alex Kumin. We spoke to Iseman and Akbar about their friendship, gifts given, and pranks played on one another. You both have such great chemistry, so it’s fun to see you in this setting. How did the project come together? Matt Iseman: He has been my work husband for over a decade. We’ve done countless game shows together. We’ve done the Olympics together. The thing we found is we always had a good time together.

New York’s historic Stonewall Inn will host the second annual Pride celebration for Glenn Close’s mental health-focused nonprofit Bring Change to Mind on June 16.

The ceremony will take place at the Just For Laughs Montreal festival, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The award show, which takes place July 29 at the DoubleTree, will see Schumer receive an award for comedy person of the year. Variety has named its 10 Comics to Watch for 2022. This year’s honorees will be profiled in the July 20 issue of Variety and be honored at this year’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, held in Montreal July 13-31. There will be a panel and cocktail reception held on July 29, followed by a performance showcase July 30.
Variety has been presenting the 10 Comics to Watch list since 2000 and has included such names as Tiffany Haddish, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt and Quinta Brunson.
The list is comprised of stand-up comedians, writers and content creators selected by a panel that includes Variety editors and those in the comedy community that scout, book, cast and represent comics.

The winner of the 15th annual StandUp NBC comedy competition is Mike E. Winfield, who beat out 1,600 applicants to win the network’s annual search for comedians of diverse backgrounds.
Winfield has been awarded a talent holding deal with NBCUniversal and a headlining spot at the National Association for Campus Activities (Naca) annual convention, where he will perform for talent bookers from across the country. He will also headline the regional semi-finalist showcases for the 2019 StandUp NBC competition.
