Daredevil: Born Again is fast approaching and we'd bet on Marvel Studios pulling out all the stops to build up hype for the revival ahead of the show's March 4 premiere.
In the meantime, it's no secret that season 2 begins production early next year, meaning the hero will get the 18 episodes promised when the series was first announced. As for what the Man Without Fear's future looks like, Spider-Man 4 rumours persist, and we now have an update from The Cosmic Circus.
According to the site, "There are already ideas being discussed for Daredevil post-Secret Wars not only for a third season but also his future inclusion in films." There's no word on what those movies will be, but we can discount at least one upcoming blockbuster.
The report later points out that we likely won't see Daredevil in Avengers: Doomsday because "given the way the first season ends,...

The nine episode first season of the Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025 – and with that date swiftly approaching, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled a few new images from the show! You can check them out at the bottom of this article.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already let it be known that season 2 of the series is set to go into production next year. Although the initial plan was to rework some elements and make Daredevil: Born Again stand separate from the Netflix Daredevil series (despite sharing some cast members), the show underwent a creative overhaul when the writers and actors strikes shut down production in 2023. Now, this series is a direct follow-up to the Netflix series, picking up five years later.

Marvel Television produced TV shows like Daredevil, The Punisher, Runaways, and Cloak & Dagger independently of Marvel Studios. However, when Disney+ launched, Netflix ended its partnership and Kevin Feige was given full control over everything.
One by one, series like the ones listed above were cancelled. Fans weren't too upset given the hit-and-miss nature of the Jeph Loeb-led projects but saying goodbye to the world of the Defenders felt like a major loss.
Marvel Studios gave Charlie Cox a second chance at playing Matt Murdock with small roles in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Daredevil: Born Again soon received the green light but was meant to be a reboot that largely moved on from Netflix's Daredevil.

Fans will notice that Daredevil’s iconic ‘Dd’ logo is missing from his chest in these new images.
The stills also feature Matt Murdock and Karen Page together again, while Mayor Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, casts a looming shadow over New York City in his ongoing pursuit of power.

Marvel Television is set to enthrall fans with the live-action series ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ featuring Charlie Cox as the iconic Man Without Fear.
New stills released by Entertainment Weekly offer a sneak peek at Cox donning what appears to be his familiar costume from Netflix, rather than the brighter version spotted in recent set photos.
The dimly lit setting, which might be the villain Muse’s hideout, keeps us guessing about the specifics.
Fans of the series will notice the absence of the well-known ‘Dd’ logo on Daredevil’s chest in these visuals.
The images also bring together Matt Murdock and Karen Page once more, while Mayor Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, looms over New York City in his continuous quest for power.

Daredevil: Born Again will be the next live-action series from Marvel Television and, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a new look at Charlie Cox suited up as the McU's Man Without Fear.
This appears to be his Netflix costume rather than the much brighter effort seen in set photos, though it's hard to say for sure given the lighting used in a location that may be Muse's base. Either way, we can't help but wonder why there's still no sign of the classic "Dd" logo on the hero's chest.
Other shots showcase Matt Murdock and Karen Page together again and Mayor Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. the Kingpin of Crime, keeping watch over New York City.
You may recall that there were once rumblings about Krysten Ritter reprising her Defenders role as Jessica Jones in Echo and/or Daredevil: Born Again. There was no sign of her in the former,...

We've seen a few brief teasers, but Marvel Studios has yet to release a full trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. Several official promo stills have been shared by various sites over the past week or so, however, possibly indicating that a proper look at the Disney+ revival could be imminent.
For now, we have another image courtesy of TV Line, giving us a new look at the returning Charlie Cox as the Man Without Fear's civilian alter-ego, Matt Murdock.
Cox spoke about reprising the role following his three-season stint as the character in Netflix's Daredevil series in a recent interview with Empire.
"There was talk early on about reinventing the whole thing, to see if Matt was a slightly different person," said the actor. "But it ended up more of a continuation. A lot of the history follows on. The relationships and dynamics set up in the previous seasons still exist.

Last October, the news broke that Marvel Studios had fired Daredevil: Born Again Head Writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman as part of a creative overhaul.
Directors hired to helm the remaining instalments of the 9-episode were also let go, and while some of the material shot will still be used, the idea was to take the Daredevil revival in a new creative direction.
Dario Scardapane was later tapped to serve as showrunner, with Moon Knight and Loki directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead brought on board to help right the ship.
Now, the Writers Guild of America website has revealed the official writing credits and Ord and Corman are only credited for the second episode. This suggests that most of their ideas were left on the cutting room floor and their contributions are now minimal at best. They will, however, still be named as executive producers.

You may recall that, when Daredevil: Born Again was first announced, it was as an 18-episode TV series. The news was met with surprise and excitement in equal measure, especially as the vast majority of Marvel Studios' streaming offerings have been only 6 episodes.
We've seen Marvel Studios struggle to master small screen storytelling, and Daredevil: Born Again soon ran into trouble. The show's original creative team made it so that Matt Murdock didn't suit up for at least the first four or five episodes; if these 18 episodes were a movie, then that's only the first act; however, for a weekly TV show, such an approach could be a major turn-off for fans.
As a result, Daredevil: Born Again received a creative overhaul and was split into two nine-episode seasons.
Talking to Phase Hero, Marvel Studios' Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum explained the decision to essentially split the Daredevil revival in two.

Marvel Studios has released two new official stills from Daredevil: Born Again ahead of its Disney+ debut next March. The first shows the Man Without Fear in costume, while the second highlights a tense confrontation between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk.
We can also confirm, courtesy of Disney's press site, that this exchange between the two enemies takes place in the first episode.
"I think it's a series that can run for multiple seasons," Marvel Studios' Head of TV, Streaming, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed earlier this week. He'd add that the "intricate" New York setting makes Daredevil akin to Game of Thrones in the sense "[there are] just multiple factions vying for power in really complex ways."
"I actually don't think the audience is ready for Daredevil: Born Again like, it goes really deep in these characters," teased Winderbaum. "It is one of the more violent things we've put on screen...

Daredevil: Born Again arrives on Disney+ next March. When the series was first announced, it was as an 18-episode TV show, and we've since learned that those will be split across two seasons (with season 2 beginning production any month now).
There's a huge amount of intrigue surrounding Marvel Television's plans for the Man Without Fear and The Cosmic Circus has today shared a few new rumoured details about the long-awaited Daredevil revival.
Apparently, "[Bullseye] plays an interesting role in Born Again. Not necessarily a lot of action, though, more psychological warfare based if you will. He’s gonna hit Matt where it hurts."
This hopefully means we're getting more than a few throwaway action scenes with the villain. Beyond Bullseye, Daredevil will have his hands full dealing with the twisted serial killer Muse.
This report claims "Muse is part of the reason why this show is going to be TV-ma.

Someone at Disney+ might have really screwed up.
Late last night, fans who played the first episode of Agatha All Along were treated to a new trailer revealing the first official footage from Daredevil: Born Again, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Ironheart, What If...? season 3, Marvel Zombies, Eyes of Wakanda, and even Wonder Man.
We imagine this was meant to debut alongside tonight's two-part finale, as Marvel Studios typically releases its teasers at prime time rather than when most of the world is asleep!
Regardless, we now have confirmation that Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is coming on January 29, with Ironheart set for a June 24 launch, Eyes of Wakanda rolling out on August 6, Marvel Zombies eyeing October (right in time for Halloween), and Wonder Man confirmed for December.

Marvel Studios just wrapped up a surprise Daredevil: Born Again panel at New York Comic Con and the trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ TV series has leaked online.
The sneak peek includes several of the Man Without Fear's new cowls and clashes with The Punisher, Muse, and The Kingpin. We also catch sight of Bullseye, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson (it's widely believed they were added to the series following the widely publicised creative overhaul).
There's also an intriguing, predictably tense, exchange between Matt Murdock and New York City's future Mayor, Wilson Fisk:
Fisk: Sometimes, peace needs to be broken. Chaos must reign.
Murdock: It does seem like we really do understand each other, so if you step out of line, I am gonna be there.
Fisk: This caution that you’re giving me. Who’s it from? Matt Murdock or your darker half?
The visuals here...

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 begins production in a few weeks but we won't get to watch that first batch of episodes until next March.
The Disney+ series promises to take a deep dive into the street-level corner of the MCU, something we'd once hoped was also the plan for Spider-Man 4.
Now, The Cosmic Circus brings a few rumoured updates on the show and the Man Without Fear's fellow Defenders. As expected, Mayor Wilson Fisk will indeed be hunting down vigilantes, with Echo and Blindspot once on his list. How much has changed since the creative overhaul remains unclear, though we might have to wait for the latter's MCU debut.
The site has also heard rumblings about Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing returning. They later note that, when we next see Finn Jones' Danny Rand, he'll likely be the next Iron Fist's master rather than the hero who...

While Marvel Television (the original Jeph Loeb-led iteration) was in charge of Netflix's Daredevil, MCU concept artist Ryan Meinerding was enlisted to design the Man Without Fear's costume.
It didn't feature the iconic "Dd" logo and neither has any iteration of the suit since. In fact, it was still missing when Matt Murdock made his MCU debut in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and, based on Daredevil: Born Again set photos, it won't feature there either.
Perhaps the thought process is that a blind superhero wouldn't need or want to put a logo on his chest. Still, fans remain eager to see it on screen.
In the newly released Marvel Studios: The Art of Ryan Meinerding book, new artwork confirms that at least two different versions of the suit were designed for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law with the "Dd" logo front and centre.

An Interesting New Daredevil: Born Again Rumor Reveals Matt And The Kingpin's Surprising New Dynamic
Daredevil: Born Again underwent a creative overhaul midway through production, resulting in sweeping changes to both the story and creative team.
We believe original plans called for Foggy Nelson to die, prompting Matt Murdock to give up being the Man Without Fear (resulting in the lawyer not suiting up for at least four or five episodes of the nine-episode series). In place of a random gunman, we now have Bullseye and set photos have confirmed Karen Page has also been added to the scene.
Some footage from the original shoot will remain and it appears Foggy is still set to take a bullet. However, according to a new rumour shared on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers, there's going to be a unique twist.
While we're not putting too much stock in this, it's said that Matt is forced to work for Wilson Fisk's Mayoral campaign after turning to the Kingpin to help keep Foggy alive.

Daredevil: Born Again was among the MCU titles showcased at D23 earlier this month and, much to the delight of Marvel fans who didn't make the trip to Anaheim, it quickly leaked online.
Believe it or not, it still hasn't been pulled - as you can see here - but a much better-quality version has surfaced on social media in the past couple of days. While not quite the same as an official release, part of the screen is no longer cut off and the overall picture and sound quality is much-improved.
As a result, we get a much better look at everything from the Man Without Fear's five cowls to his clashes with The Punisher, Muse, The Kingpin, and more. Also below is a clip from an even higher-quality version of the Daredevil: Born Again trailer which, unfortunately, has yet to be leaked in its entirety! We'll be sure...

When Daredevil: Born Again finally arrives on Disney+ next March, we're expecting a long overdue deep dive into the street-level corner of the MCU.
We know the Man Without Fear will cross paths with the likes of White Tiger and The Punisher, while various online scoopers have claimed the plan for Spider-Man 4 is for Peter Parker and Daredevil to do battle with The Kingpin.
If that happens, then we'd imagine the idea is to bring Wilson Fisk's story to a definitive close when he's defeated by his two greatest foes.
Lead star Charlie Cox recently teased plans for cameos in Daredevil: Born Again and Daniel Richtman has now "confirmed" rumours that Jacques "Jack" Duquesne (Tony Dalton) will appear in the series. Is he finally going to suit up as Swordsman? That remains to be seen.
The scooper also claims that there were once plans for Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan/Ms.

Daredevil: Born Again will finally deliver a deep dive into the street-level corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Hawkeye gave us a glimpse into that, of course, but it's in this series that we'll see vigilantes in action.
The Punisher and White Tiger are both confirmed to appear and lead star Charlie Cox commented on the latter character's role during a recent appearance at Fan Expo Chicago.
"I mean, we don't follow any of the comic books in terms of story," he told fans (via Screen Rant). "We don't follow any of them closely, and there's a number of reasons for that. One, because if you follow a storyline closely, it becomes a foregone conclusion because everyone knows how it ends."
"Those of you who saw the leaked trailer from D23 may have noticed a couple of interesting characters come up - I didn't say it, you said it.

Daredevil: Born Again Star Charlie Cox Reveals When He First Heard From Kevin Feige About MCU Return
With such a clear divide between Marvel Studios and Marvel Television, most fans never expected Netflix's street-level characters to appear in the MCU.
That changing looked a little more likely when Disney shuttered Marvel Television, but even then it was hard to imagine Kevin Feige and company being willing to pick up where several seasons of programming on Netflix left The Defenders.
However, in 2021, Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin returned in Hawkeye and, mere weeks later, we saw Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home Home.
The former's newfound strength suggested Marvel Studios was making some changes to the characters, and while the Netflix shows have since been made "canon" to Earth-616, we still don't expect future projects like Daredevil: Born Again to adhere too closely to what's come before.
Talking to People, Cox revealed when he first heard from Feige about suiting up again.

The original version of Daredevil: Born Again is believed to have been completely separate from Netflix's Daredevil. However, following a creative overhaul, the show will feature the return of actors who originally weren't going to be in the Disney+ revival and a story which harkens back to the Man Without Fear's previous adventures.
Entertainment Weekly caught up with Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin), Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) at D23 and unearthed some specifics about how Daredevil: Born Again will tie into its predecessor.
"The first day on set with Deborah, myself, and Elden was really special because the scene that was written was like a scene where we were reminiscing over old times and all the things we’ve done," Cox explained. "And it just so happened that we shot...

Daredevil: Born Again was creatively overhauled by Marvel Studios midway through shooting, resulting in major changes behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
As a result of the shakeup. Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) were both tapped to reprise their Daredevil roles, while Ayelet Zurer will now return as Vanessa Fisk after originally being replaced by Sandrine Holt.
Oh, and Jon Bernthal is making his long-awaited return as The Punisher!
Talking at D23 this weekend, the actor revealed how it feels to have received so much love from fans. "Genuine, genuine excitement," he shared. "I think if you're a fan of the show that you saw before, you're going to be a fan of this. I think we're just taking it a step further."

The Marvel Studios portion of D23's "Disney Entertainment Showcase" is over and the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again is finally here...albeit, unofficially.
The full teaser has leaked online tonight and is bound to only further increase excitement for the Daredevil revival. Along with a first look at White Tiger, we see The Punisher's reunion with Matt Murdock, Bullseye behind bars, and the Man Without Fear's many costumes.
There's also a suitably tense exchange between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk and a surprise appearance from Ms. Marvel and The Marvels star Mohan Kapur as Kamala Khan's father, Yusuf.
The action scenes look every bit as hard-hitting as we'd hoped and an appearance from Foggy Nelson and Karen Page is sure to be welcomed.
"Marvel had been incredibly open-minded and willing to correct course, and incredibly supportive," Charlie Cox recently said of Daredevil: Born Again's creative overhaul.

Daredevil: Born Again is among the upcoming MCU projects we expect to be showcased at D23's "Disney Entertainment Showcase" this evening and new artwork for the Disney+ series is featured on the convention floor.
As you can see, it primarily features Daredevil and The Kingpin, presented as graffiti which we'd imagine, in the series itself, is meant to have been illustrated by the villainous Muse.
Something that's grabbed the attention of most fans, though, is the fact that the all-too-familiar "Dd" logo can be seen alongside the Man Without Fear. The Netflix series never gave the hero that iconic symbol on his chest and it hasn't been featured in any of the set photos from Daredevil: Born Again; however, it may be added digitally or put on the suit later in the series.
In related news, The Newton Brothers (X-Men '97) have confirmed that they're composing Daredevil: Born Again's score.

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is a fan-favorite superhero show that was first introduced in 2015. The show lasted for three seasons, and was not made part of the mainstream MCU. However, with the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again, that is set to change, with Cox’s character expected to be one of several who will play a major role in the upcoming Avengers saga as well.

Charlie Cox took the stage at GalaxyCon Raleigh this past weekend to share compelling new details about the highly anticipated Marvel series “Daredevil: Born Again.” As anticipation builds for the new Disney+ chapter, Cox provided insight into pivotal changes that expanded the show’s connections to its groundbreaking Netflix predecessor.
Originally, the plan was to distance the new series from its former identity on the streamer. A planned cameo for Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson was intended to “end the link” between franchises, dismaying long-time “Devil” fans. However, Cox revealed the creative team opted to bring Henson and Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page back as leads instead. “It was pretty heartbreaking at first, but I’m thrilled they’re coming home,” Cox told the excited GalaxyCon crowd.

The cast of Daredevil: Born Again was at GalaxyCon this weekend, and with no mention of Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ TV shows at Comic-Con, they clearly weren't needed in San Diego.
One Redditor who attended the event got to speak with the cast and has shared some of what they learned on social media (via @DDevilUpdates).
The Man Without Fear himself, Charlie Cox, reportedly told them he'll be at D23 to promote the 9-episode series. That shouldn't come as a huge surprise because we've previously heard that the idea is to focus on Marvel Studios' small screen projects in Anaheim.
The actor also supposedly confirmed that season 2 begins shooting soon and said he's been reading every comic run he can in his free time. Cox named Frank Miller and Chip Zdarsky as his favourite Daredevil writers; you'll recall that the latter was responsible for The Kingpin's transformation into Mayor Fisk on the page.

When Marvel Studios first announced Daredevil: Born Again, it was an 18-episode series. However, those plans seemingly changed even before the creative overhaul, with the revival split into two 9-episode seasons.
Given how many changes the show has been through (and how costly they likely were), there have been concerns among fans that Disney's streaming cutbacks could drastically shorten Daredevil: Born Again.
Well, according to scooper Daniel Richtman, the plan is for "season 2" to begin shooting this fall, with work continuing until mid-2025.
If this is correct, Marvel Studios must be confident in the show's chances of success as the current plan is for Daredevil: Born Again to premiere on Disney+ next March. However, we'd imagine this means there's a risk of major spoilers for season 1 doing the rounds once the cast is spotted back on set for season 2.
This news also raises some interesting questions about plans for Spider-Man...

Daredevil: Born Again has undergone a great many changes since first being announced. Roughly half of the 9-episode series had been shot, only for Marvel Studios to decide it wasn't working and that the creative team had taken the Man Without Fear in the wrong direction.
A massive creative overhaul followed; it reportedly involved enlisting new writers and directors, bringing back more Daredevil cast members, dropping at least a couple of actors from the cast, and making sweeping alterations to the story.
Now, we've learned that Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio also had some input in reshaping the series.

Back in April, the news broke that Daredevil: Born Again had wrapped filming. It felt like a bigger deal than usual because shooting had originally kicked off early last year, only to be paused when Marvel Studios decided to fire the creative team and overhaul a series which seemingly wasn't working.
Some original footage and ideas will make it into the new version, though we're unlikely to ever know what the previous iteration of this Daredevil follow-up looked like. However, based on what we've heard, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, and Bullseye were absent, as was the Man Without Fear's costume for much of the 9-episode revival.
It feels like the show is now heading in the right direction, and while an official Daredevil: Born Again sneak peek is no doubt still months away, a crew gift has surfaced online which sees the Man Without Fear's shadow loom large over New York.

Is either title good? This hasn't played at any film festivals, but it was picked up during an AFM sale a few years ago. Stranded in the open sea after a fatal jet ski accident, a young woman and her two friends are rescued by a fishing vessel's captain, unaware that the ship harbors a chilling secret. From this trailer, it looks like it's an organ harvesting vessel - this seems to be like Eli Roth's Hostel but on a boat. Dead Sea stars Isabel Gravitt, Genneya Walton, Alexander Wraith, with Dean Cameron, Garrett Wareing, Al Burke, Brian Silverman, and Koa Tom. Set for the typical VOD right away release later in July this summer. Doesn't look like...

Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter has long been rumoured to make an MCU return, with the prevailing opinion online now being that we'll see the actress in Daredevil: Born Again.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo seemed likely possibilities once upon a time and it's been widely reported that Ritter came close to shooting a cameo for the latter which was scrapped when it became a standalone "Marvel Spotlight" series.
After the disappointing second and third seasons of Jessica's solo series, fans are eager for Ritter to get another chance courtesy of Marvel Studios. Even if we're eventually getting a new Luke Cage (Mike Colter doesn't seem overly interested in returning), this version of the hardened P.I. showing up at some point is still a must.
According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, Ritter has met with Marvel Studios about returning to the role and, right now, the expectation is...

Daredevil: Born Again went through a major creative overhaul to bring it more in line with the Netflix series. While significant changes have been made, the main story is expected to remain the same.
Based on what we've pieced together, Wilson Fisk becomes New York City Mayor and clamps down on vigilantes. Meanwhile, The Punisher is hunting down corrupt cops, the vigilante White Tiger is on trial, and a serial killer, Muse, is causing chaos in Hell's Kitchen.
The Cosmic Circus recently shared some MCU updates, including plans for the villain in the upcoming Disney+ TV series.
"What I’ve heard about Muse is that his character will fan the flames of chaos in the show," the site teases. "He’ll be very sinister and deranged and will actually be an antagonist to not only Daredevil but also Kingpin, which will be an interesting dynamic to see play out."

Since 2021, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin of Crime have shown up in various MCU TV shows.
We've seen the Man Without Fear in Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo, with Wilson Fisk appearing in the latter and Hawkeye. However, these two haven't shared the screen since Daredevil wrapped up on Netflix six years ago.
That's set to change in Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again and, in an interview with TV Insider, D'Onofrio revealed that the revival originally featured no significant links to Daredevil.
"It originally wasn’t going to be at all, but now it’s a lot," the actor said of crossovers between the two. Cox chimed in to say there's now "a lot" of them, presumably meaning Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Bullseye, and The Punisher were M.I.A. in the previous iteration of Born Again.
As for what led to the change,...

Last year, a creative overhaul saw The Punisher's Dario Scardapane replace Matt Corman and Chris Ord as Daredevil: Born Again's showrunner. Now, all signs point to the Marvel Studios series delivering the take on the Man Without Fear we've been waiting to see in the MCU.
TV Line caught up with Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio at the Upfronts in New York yesterday and asked the former whether the retooling has brought Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk more in line with Netflix's Daredevil.
"Not exactly the same, but much closer," Cox teased. "And potentially much improved."
D'Onofrio added, "It’s hard to comment because I want to say so much about both the [Netflix] show and this show, and the change that happened, but in the end, the last few months of work we did was written beautifully and directed beautifully. Personally, I think it’s as intense as we’ve ever been.

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio have been locked in to reprise the roles of hero Matt Murdock / Daredevil and villain Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, characters they originally played on the Marvel-inspired Netflix series Daredevil, on the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again ever since Marvel and Disney+ started pushing the show forward. When their supporting cast was being assembled at the end of 2022, it was announced that Sandrine Holt (American Gigolo) had signed on to appear on the show as a love interest to the Fisk – with the word being that she was taking over the role of his wife Vanessa Marianna Fisk, who had previously been played by Ayelet Zurer on the Netflix show. Apparently there had been scheduling issues with Zurer, who said she was “sad to not take part” in the new series… which, at the time, wasn’t meant to line up with the Netflix show perfectly. Filming...
