Alexander Denysenko is a multiple award-winning film director, screenwriter, and creative producer, and a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association (PFA). With over 30 international awards to his name, Alexander trained under and assisted Oscar-winning director Andrzej Wajda. He has also served as a jury member at film festivals in London and Krakow.
His internationally acclaimed short film Wonderwall redefined the narrative surrounding Chornobyl, presenting the tragedy through a fresh emotional lens that transcended traditional themes of fear and anxiety.
Alexander holds a Master's degree in Philosophy from Lviv National University and has honed his craft as a feature film director through advanced training at the Wajda School in Warsaw, Poland, and Focal in Switzerland. Additionally, he has specialized in screenwriting and creative production (Wajda School) and completed an intensive two-and-a-half-year Meisner technique training at the Meisner Lab in Warsaw, Poland.
