Kody Brown's recent behavior on Sister Wives suggests he may be experiencing symptoms of age-related hypogonadism, similar to male menopause. Kody's disinterest and gloomy attitude towards his ex-wives is concerning, as he avoids taking responsibility for their issues. Kody's lack of intimacy with his ex-wives could be attributed to low testosterone levels and a decreased sex drive.
Kody Brown's unusual behavior in Sister Wives season 18 might be down to his hormones. Kody started his Sister Wives stint as the patriarch of the Brown family, married to Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. Although he didn't grow up in a polygamous family, Kody embraced the lifestyle, and shortly after the show premiered, the patriarch was already planning his next wedding. After meeting in church, Kody fell in love with Robyn Brown, and their relationship dominated the early parts of Sister Wives season 1.
Robyn integrated into the family quickly, and Kody kept them all together.

Season 18 of Sister Wives has been a postmortem on Kody Brown’s plural marriages thus far. That general vibe doesn’t look like it will be changing anytime soon. Now that three of his four wives have left him completely, the family is finally getting honest about polygamy and why their marriages failed. In a particularly telling clip, three out of four of Kody Brown’s romantic partners admit to keeping track of how the family patriarch spent his time. Christine Brown, the first Sister Wives star to call it quits on her marriage, admitted to keeping track of Kody’s time. Meri and Robyn kept track, too.
Unequal time led to the unraveling of Kody Brown’s marriages
Jealousy is common in polygamy, insists the Brown family now. When Sister Wives started, Kody Brown and his wives, including Christine Brown, insisted the key to a happy plural family was the equal division of time.

Sister Wives fans have spent several seasons blaming Robyn Brown for the trouble in the Brown family’s plural marriage. Sure, Robyn’s tearless sobs have not endeared her to fans. She also has been selfish and more than a bit hypocritical in footage collected for the show. Still, she might not be to blame for the downfall of the Brown’s polygamist marriage. In fact, Meri Brown just revealed that Kody Brown was always unfair about how he split his time among his wives.

Janelle Brown was presented as one of the breadwinners of the Brown family when Sister Wives began. Over a decade later, Janelle sat down for a confessional during season 18 of the series, bemoaning her financial situation. The mother of six noted she’d be walking away from her marriage with nothing. Her financial situation, she said, was precarious enough to make her feel stuck. So what exactly happened? What made Janelle Brown’s finances worse than Christine Brown’s and Meri Brown’s when they left Kody Brown? Three decisions made Janelle’s decision to leave Kody much more financially risky.

Janelle Brown's weight loss is noticeable in her Instagram clip from her Mexican getaway, where she promoted Plexus products while enjoying her vacation. Kody and Robyn live a more luxurious life compared to his other wives, with a nearly $1 million home. Kody indulges in expensive jewelry, while his wives struggle with money and budgeting for their large family. Janelle and Christine sell products online to supplement their income, while Kody seems unconcerned about their financial state.
Sister Wives Kody Brown and Robyn Brown have always lived life a bit more luxuriously than Kody's ex-wives Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, or Meri Brown, and many are wondering why. Throughout Sister Wives season 18, viewers have seen Kody and Robyn living in a large home and dealing with their family drama. After Christine left Kody during Sister Wives season 17 and chose to move away from the family homestead in Flagstaff, Kody has been dealing with an array of mixed emotions. He was floored by Christine leaving and came out of that situation feeling betrayed, but his emotions bled into his other relationships.

Kody's struggling to adapt to Christine leaving, despite favoring Robyn for years. He shouldn't be surprised that Christine fled, as he neglected her. Christine's thriving after leaving Kody - she's feeling free, happy, and hopeful. Other cast members, like Janelle and Meri, are not as happy. Robyn's recent anti-polygamy statement may not be genuine. She may have wanted Kody all to herself for years.
Sister Wives season 18's heating up, and its cast members, Kody Brown, Robyn Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Meri Brown, are changing radically, on and offscreen. The Brown family has a whole new dynamic now, as Christine's branching out. Kody's struggling to adapt to his changed circumstances, but why he'd be surprised that Christine left him is anyone's guess. After favoring Robyn for so many years, he had it coming. It's possible that he thought religion would keep Christine under his control, even though he neglected her.

Janelle Brown has spent the last five years living in Flagstaff, Arizona. Despite growing up in Utah, the mother of six managed to make Arizona her home base after her then-husband, Kody Brown, moved the entire plural family to the state. Now that her relationship with Kody Brown has ended, she appears to be planning her next move. While she mused about a potential move back to Utah on Sister Wives, it doesn’t seem like she’s leaped just yet. So, where exactly is Janelle Brown living in 2023?
Where is Janelle Brown originally from?
Janelle Brown was introduced to Sister Wives fans as Kody Brown’s second wife, but she had a full life before she became a polygamist. Janelle grew up in a religious household but did not grow up in polygamy. Her father, Robert Schriever, died when she was still a young child.

Robyn's passive-aggressive tactics and manipulative behavior may be the reason why Christine left Kody in Sister Wives season 18. Despite being the only wife left, Robyn doesn't seem to be in love with Kody lately. In fact, she appears to be exasperated by him. Robyn's control over Kody, and clashes with his other children from previous marriages, have strained relationships within the Brown family.
Sister Wives star Robyn Brown may be one of the most-hated women on TV, in large part because of what she's done to Kody Brown's life. While her patriarch hubby's no angel (he recently compared himself to Satan), Robyn's more than a little devious. Since she doesn't shoot from the hip, preferring passive-aggressive tactics, she may be the real reason why three wives ran for the hills. Onscreen, in season 18, Janelle and Meri Brown are still trying to make things work with Kody, but they're getting nowhere.

Kody Brown's embracing his villain role, and considering acting like an, "a**hole" because his family already sees him that way. Kody's relationship with his children is deteriorating as he openly battles them onscreen. It's similar to Darth Vader's treatment of his children in Star Wars films, TV shows, and comics. Kody's favoritism towards wife Robyn, and neglect of his other wives, has caused significant damage to the Brown family's world. Darth Vader destroyed Alderaan, his daughter Leia's home planet.

Kody's belief in "sacred loneliness," and other patriarchal views on women's suffering, are outdated and offensive. The wives of Sister Wives are rebelling against this belief, finding their own happiness outside of the constraints of plural marriage. Polygamous rules that demean women should be challenged, and women should be revered for their important roles as givers of life and nurturers. Equality is important in relationships.

While Kody was still married to Janelle Brown during the Christmas holidays, she chose not to spend her time with their children...

In an out-of-character move for Kody Brown, the patriarch finally admitted to Sister Wives fans that he indeed favors his wife, Robyn Brown. His confession comes after his relationships with his other three wives ended. For years, the father of 18 has claimed that he was never treating Robyn any differently than the rest of his spouses. However, it was completely obvious to all that he loved Robyn the most.
Since 2010, Sister Wives followers have watched Kody and Robyn go from excited newlyweds to a couple that continuously had to defend themselves against trolls. As the youngest bride, some fans started to feel that Robyn had the most power to influence Kody's decisions. Kody's fourth wife earned the nickname, "Sobbin Robyn," as she would often cry to get her way. It was clear that the other wives disliked Robyn and didn't want her to be a part of the family, but they had no say.

Over the years, Sister Wives has filmed mostly in the homes of the plural Brown family. From time to time, though, the cameras have gone on location to capture family moments and tense arguments. While the family filmed around Las Vegas fairly regularly, they’ve spent most of their time in Flagstaff at home. Still, they seem to like to take their drama on the road. Several tense conversations have occurred at a Mexican restaurant called Salsa Brava.

Kody Brown might be the villain of Sister Wives, but he’s not the only Brown family member who viewers believe has brought pain and drama to the plural group. For years, viewers have blamed Robyn Brown for some of Kody’s more inexplicable decisions. Several decisions negatively impacted the family unit that Robyn Brown is believed to have been or confirmed to have been behind.
Kody and Meri Brown’s divorce probably wasn’t Meri’s idea at all
In 2015, Meri Brown and Kody Brown officially divorced so Kody could legally marry Robyn Brown. Meri insisted that she volunteered to end her legal marriage for the sake of Robyn Brown’s children from a previous relationship. The legal marriage allowed Kody to legally adopt the three minor children.
While Meri, Kody, and Robyn have always insisted Meri volunteered to end her legal union, Sister Wives fans are convinced she’s lying.

Singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett was undergoing treatments for an aggressive form of skin cancer at the time of his death.

He battled the disease for four years, according to his website. Plus, “He continued to perform during treatment, playing his last show, a surprise appearance in Rhode Island, in early July.”

With the focus of "Sister Wives" no longer on polygamy, fans feel they are missing out on learning about the functioning of a plural marriage. TLC changed the family's pay due to low ratings, with Kody Brown negotiating a lower salary to keep the show on the air. If the show is canceled, the ex-wives have separate business ventures for income, while the children are becoming more independent and less financial pressure is on the family.
Now that the four separate marriages within the Sister Wives cast are in disarray, the show's future appears to be in limbo. Although TLC has kept mum on the program's direction, fans feel the show is no longer focused on the original subject. Because of that, some have stated that it may be time for the show to go.
If TLC decides to go along with that line of thought, how will the massive family move forward financially?...

Kody Brown is the ultimate reality TV villain. In 2010, Kody and his four wives appeared for the first time on TLC. In the early seasons of Sister Wives, the plural family was dedicated to showing the world that polygamy can work. In recent years, they’ve switched directions and expertly depicted why polygamy is a difficult and complicated lifestyle choice. While season 18 of the series has just begun, fans are getting more than they bargained for already. Even Meri Brown is lambasting Kody, and she perfectly explains why the family has experienced such difficulties in recent years in a new sneak peek.

Kody and ex-wife Christine are attempting to mend their relationship for the sake of their family, despite their divorce and past issues. Kody wants to have "breakup" counseling with Christine to improve their friendship and prevent speaking negatively about each other. Christine is open to the idea of forming a friendship with Kody and believes it's better to let go of contempt. However, both acknowledge the difficulty of rebuilding trust.

Despite impressive viewership, Sister Wives season 18 lacks passion and romance, with the constant whining and complaining of the cast members overshadowing the drama. Robyn's manipulation tactics, including fake tears, have become tiresome. She continues to play the victim, while secretly working towards her own endgame - monogamy with Kody. While some scenes may make viewers space out, there's still intense emotion. Watching Christine embrace her own power, by fleeing a marriage that made her feel bad, is truly amazing.

Kody wants to reconcile with Janelle because she is level-headed and emotionally stable, unlike his current wife, Robyn. Reuniting with Janelle would allow Kody to improve his relationship with their six shared children and feel like a patriarch again. Janelle's weight loss and newfound glamorous lifestyle may have reignited Kody's attraction to her, as she is more fashion-forward than Robyn.
Kody Brown from Sister Wives hopes to reconcile with Janelle Brown for a few reasons. 54-year-old Kody first met the 54-year-old Janelle nearly three decades ago. At the time, he was in a monogamous relationship with Meri Brown and hoped to have a plural marriage. In 1993, Kody married Janelle and brought her into his growing family. Robyn's sudden interest in monogamy after being an advocate for plural marriage is jarring and raises questions about her motives. Robyn's behavior towards Kody's ex-wives suggests a selfish and manipulative nature, contradicting her supposed concern for the family's breakdown. Robyn's actions and past comments indicate a self-centered attitude, putting her own interests and finances before the well-being of the family.
Sister Wives season 18 has surprised some viewers who have been keeping track of Robyn Brown's latest comments, as she seems deeply concerned about the state of her family's plural marriage. Robyn, who is Kody Brown's only remaining wife, has been vocal about her interest in trying monogamy after the dissolution of Kody's marriages to his ex-wives Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown. As Kody has been picking up the pieces left behind by his separations in Sister Wives season 18, Robyn has been hopeful that he won't court any new women.

Janelle believes that Kody and Robyn intentionally split the polygamous family apart, but she may be overlooking other reasons for the separation, like lack of mutual respect or incompatibility. Kody's biggest issue with Janelle is that she hasn't raised their kids to respect him, which may have caused him to distance himself from her and spend more time with Robyn. It appears unlikely that Kody and Janelle will reconcile, as their relationship is falling apart and they both have contributed to its breakdown. Sister Wives- "Monogamous" Kody & Robyn Won't Build On Coyote Pass Land (Are They Making A Mistake?)
Kody and Robyn Brown are reportedly unwilling to build a home on their Coyote Pass land, probably due to the history of conflicts and disputes among the wives.
