Jim Shoots

Jim Shoots is a lifelong resident of Western New York, having grown up
in a small town just outside of Rochester, one of six children, and the
son of hard-working parents. He studied Electrical Engineering at RIT
and upon graduation went to work in the research department of a large
high-tech company, where he stayed for 33 years, designing electronic
circuits and systems, developing software, and working with a small
team of engineers. Upon retirement from engineering, he began work on
his second career - film production. His goal is to learn as much as he
can about the art and science of modern film production, and - before
he leaves this earth - apply that knowledge and experience to the
production of something good.
