Kara Cantrell

Kara Cantrell is a lifelong professional actor and educator of stage and screen. She has worked professionally as an arts educator, actor, director, voice over artist, writer, and improvisational performer. Most recently she has served as an Associate Professor at Kennesaw State University in the Department of Theatre & Performance Studies.
Her most recent roles include Spiderman: No Way Home and the TV sitcom, Dwight in Shining Armor. She has appeared on the Atlanta stage with several theatrical companies including Stage Door Players, Actor's Express, Theatre in the Square, and Synchronicity Theatre. She has served as Founding Artistic Director for Impulse Repertory Co. (2011-2020) and Actors' Theatre of the South (2023-present).
