Sean Schliwa
- Actor
- Writer
- Producer
Sean Schliwa was born on the 30th of October 1988 in Perth Western Australia. He worked numerous jobs and trades before developing an interest in acting. He also did home made films with his friends in the suburbs as a past time. During 2012 Sean started to take the acting craft serious. He dabbled in many Theatre productions before paving his way into local films of Perth, many which he wrote, produced and stared in.
With Perth having a small film industry, he worked and collaborated with a few local artists and produced, written, directed, and acted in a few Local features. His first two films Artistic Agony (2014) and The End (2016) were done on a micro budget and were met with mixed reception from the film and acting community, but in time met a cult following. It was in those films he played his most known character Lebron Vloggs a fist fighting Artist with a bizarre personality. This was followed by a much bigger sized production the Black Ghost, a local action/crime thriller, where he played the leading role as Black Ghost and served as Executive Producer, aswell as writer. The film was released in 2018 with mixed reception but was a big hit in its premier. His acting range and style has often been questioned, but is often praised for uniqueness and entertainment factor, and he is often praised for his physical tenacity. His writing style seems to reflect a particular style of 80 and 90s tone and culture, these trademarks seem to re-occur in his films.
He has been recently working on a Mini Series Lord of Agony, which is a follow up to Artistic Agony, though not story related. Serving as Director, Writer, Producer, and Actor. Unlike his previous films which were very Urban set, this looks into the Paranormal. Sean at the same time is big into Archaeology.
