Greta Varts is an Estonian First Assistant Director, Script Writer and Film Critic.
Greta Varts was born on July 13, 1986 in Tallinn. She studied at the Tallinn Music High School in 1993-2002 and at Rocca al Mare School in 2002-2005. She has graduated from University of London with a degree in history, a bachelor's and masters degree in scriptwriting and film theory at the Baltic Film and Media School in Film and Media. As a First Assistant Director, she has worked on various television series, feature films and commercials. As a freelance critic, she has written articles in the newspapers La Strada, Sirp, Eesti Ekspress, Capital of Culture and magazines Teatr Muusika Cinema and NisiMazine.
In 2014, the St. Jüri Prize was awarded to the recipient in assessing the student's professional development and ability, teamwork skills, academic achievement and participation in school work and, of course, the "divine talent".
