Ron Trembath

Ron Trembath is an American born writer and journalist currently based in the UK. Ron began his career as a music blogger in 2007 writing for websites like Red Crown Review, MusicGeek, Comfort Comes, Crappy Indie Music The Blog!, and Fensepost.
In 2008, legendary B horror filmmaker Steve Sessions created the character Sheriff Ronald Trembath for his 2008 thriller, Torment. The character would be performed by actor and stuntman Ted Alderman, also known for his work in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and 2 Guns, starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg.
In 2009, Trembath had a short album review for Velella Velella chosen among hundreds of submissions for publication during a contest for The Pacific Northwest Inlander.
In 2011, he released the book and accompanying compilation album entitled Children of Mercy: Tales and Teachings from the World of Independent Music. The book was a charity based project in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in the UK. The book featured 40 different essays written by Anna-Lynne Williams (Lotte Kestner, Trespassers William), Shawn Fogel (Golden Bloom), MIchael W. Nestor (The Beechfield Label), and more. The album featuring contributed music from Lotte Kestner, Robin Grey, Bangkutaman, and many more. Both the book and album received rave reviews from publications like Rolling Stone (Indonesia), Trax Magazine, The Spokesman Review, The Daily News, The Pacific Northwest Inlander, Sergeant Sparrow Magazine, Omahype.com, Drunken Werewolf Magazine and more.
During a promotional tour for Children of Mercy, Ron became friends with DJ Martin Hallanzini, and eventually became a regular co-host of the acclaimed program Motion Granted Radio on KYRS in Spokane, Washington. He also made frequent visits to the show Crossroads on KYRS, which was hosted by legendary Spokane musician and DJ, Bob Rice.
Later in 2011, Trembath created the content-driven and glitz-free entertainment blog Trainwreck'd Society. The site has conducted over 200 interviews and is constantly adding more.
