Acclaimed for complex, hilarious portrayals of determined young people on stage and screen, J.G. Smith was named a "standout" by Richard Roeper for her feature film debut in Knives and Skin (IFCMidnight, Official Selection at Berlinale and TriBeCa).
J.G. is proud to be an Ensemble Member with Chicago's American Blues Theater, as well as an Associate Artist with Brooklyn's Undiscovered Countries. J.G. is also an award-winning performance artist whose work has been featured at TheTankNYC, Chicago Fringe Festival, NOLA's Hell Yes Fest, Maine's Theater Project, and the streets of New York City.
