Tron Griffin grew up on the south side of Chicago, Illinois and is the
youngest son of Walter Leonard and Flora Jean Griffin. Before getting
into films, Griffin graduated from a Big East University with a degree
in business management. Griffin also studied briefly at Texas A&M
University Bush School of Government. Griffin won an Award of Merit for
his screenplay "Petrified" at the 2013 Los Angeles Cinema Festival of
Hollywood. The screenplay "Petrified" was also named an Official
Selection and Finalist at the prestigious 2013 Beverly Hills Film
Festival. In addition, his feature screenplay "Anna" was named an
Official Selection and Finalist at the prestigious 2014 Beverly Hills
Film Festival.
