SHNO

SHNO is an International actress and recording artist from the Netherlands. She is a native Kurdish Sorani, English and Dutch speaker and was named after a small town in the Kurdish territory of the Middle East. Her first love in life is music. The first time she professionally acted was in a short film in 2012, in the Netherlands and worked on a few Dutch TV pilots since. In 2013, she was offered a place at Stella Adler Studio in New York City. Moving onto 2016, SHNO graduated in East15 Drama School and has made London her home since. Most of her recent work has been in film and VO. In 2021 she released her studio EP and reached to 100.000 streams on Spotify with positive reviews in the press. In the same year, she won several best actress awards at various film festivals for her role in Minah (Belgian drama). Currently she is working on her second studio ep D.A.R.K. and has Stoffig Licht (Dutch cinema film) in post production along with Caged (UK short) and is co-producing her first feature film called YAS which is in development.
